Chapter 27

Anna's P.O.V

"Okay here goes nothing." Elsa whispered.

The plan seemed simple, but in reality we had no idea if it would work. They said love will thaw a frozen heart. So in theory it could thaw the ice curse? We were depending on it working, so it better work.

"Okay here goes 3...2...1...go!" Jack counted down and they began to act out the plan. Elsa and jacks palms grew whiter and whiter as their ice powers flew everywhere. It wasn't doing much good...

Just then Arrianna came round the corner and we knew it was now or never. If this didn't work we were in deep. She started shooting ice, just like Elsa can, everywhere but then just as it was reaching the castle Elsa's magic cut out.

"Why is it not working!" She screamed, she knew as well as me that if she couldn't keep going we were seriously not in a good position.

"Calm down! Just think of things that make you happy!" Jack yelled. Although I'm pretty sure he had no idea why they had stopped working- Elsa's powers I mean.

She sighed and I held my breath hopefully it would work. She flicked her wrists and shut her eyes... And the magic started flying out of her fingers! We had hope again. It was brighter than ever before, it was stronger in a way I could feel it. We still had our bond anyway so I knew she was winning.

But Arrianna was still shooting the curse out of her hands. Why hadn't she stopped? That was the whole point- she was supposed to be on our side!

"Arrianna! Stop! Please!" I yelled over the noise from the ice.

"I can't! I don't know how!" Now those were words I remembered from when Elsa was just a little older than her daughter.

"You can! Just try, think of things that will thaw it!" I yelled back. She stared at the flow of ice going from her fingertips and managed to stop it. But you could see the ice spreading across the castle, freezing everyone inside.

"Elsa, Jack! You have to thaw it now!" I yelled in their direction.

"We're trying!" Jack yelled back. Sure they were, but if they didn't thaw it soon we were all toast, more like icicles. It wasn't working. It had to work.

"Please let it work.Please. Please. Please!"I whisper chanted. Just then the massive lump of ice that had been covering the castle and slowly spreading upwards split in half and disappeared! It was finished, the plan had worked. And to think that I hadn't had faith in them all along. We all screamed in happiness and I started jumping up and down. Jack picked Elsa up and spin her around. Aww they looked so cute together! Just then they looked like they were going to do more that just hugging, but jack stepped back and scratched his head awkwardly.

"Aww I totally ship Jelsa!" I yelled, as I ran towards the two of them, hugging Elsa

"Jelsa?" Jack looked confused.

"It's your couple name!" I replied. Elsa and Jack both went the colour of tomatoes. They really were too cute together.

"How did you break the curse!" Jaiana screamed.

"Two words, Jack and Elsa." I smiled.

"No! No! No! You can't have broke it!" She started pacing the room, "mallificent will blame me! She'll hunt me down! I won't have a head anymore! Why did you have to break the curse! You idiots!"

"You shouldn't have messed with us Jaiana. And now you'll pay the price."

It's so scary! There's only a couple more chapters left till this books finished! I don't know what I'll do without it :D
