Aurora's P.O.V.
I walked outside to the courtyard, breathing in the cool air of the scottish highlands. It smelled so sweet and fresh. Nothing like the smell of the air inside the castle. I walked towards the stables and went to get one of my horses- my most trusted one anyway- that had brought me up safley, his name was Samson. It was him who had brought philippe- my husband- to me all those years ago. When I was trying to avoid Mallificents curse. But that didn't matter just now. The last thing I wanted was to think about that evil soul.
"Come on Samson, lets go for a ride." I soothed at the horse. Snow had told me to be safe before I left- she knew that I was only going out for a midnight horse ride. Samson snickered in response to me as I saddled him up and climbed on his broad back. I patted his golden fur and for some reason, I felt a wave of tranquility wash over me. I always felt safe on Samson- more so than I did on any other horse. And with that we were trotting across the courtyard Samson- and myself I must admit- waiting for the sudden gust of air as we got out of the gates and began to gallop across the highlands. I had my map with me and I stopped every so often to check we were on route. I could easily get lost and with no one to help me, I would most certainly die. Just then Samson came to an adrupt hault, nearly throwing me off of him and I knew something was up.
"What is it boy?"
Just then I looked up and before me was a massive circle of stones. Stone henge. It was so beautiful, a few stones sticking up and a strange blue thing floatong in the middle. It was practically beggign me to follow it. I remembered Merida never to follow it incase I got lost. But as it stood there practically begging me to follow it I couldn't resist. It was so cute and... well. Blue. I stepped towards it and it moved further away from me.
"Wait no don't go away! I want to touch you!" I yelled at it stepping closer, and yet again it moved further away. This was beginning to become quite a challenge. I was about to take another step when a cold voice that sent chilles up my spine called out to me. A voice that was far, far to familliar for comfort.
"Oh I wouldn't follow that little creature, aurora." I frose. The voice was... was... It couldn't be? Could it? I turned round and to my horror the voice bellonged to the person she had feared the most since she had been born practically.
Mallificent.
But she was dead! How could she be standing here, if she was supposed to be dead?
"How..How did y-you come b-back?" I managed to stutter, "P-phillip k-killed y-you." I could feel myself shaking more and more. She let out one of her evil laughs.
"You don't really think that little phillip could really kill me do you! Thats propostorous! How could he, nothing but an insignificant little flea, squash me! The mistress of all evil!"
I couldn't say anything, I couldn't even swallow, never mind form inteligible sentences. All she done was sit there and snicker. And I hated that. She could laugh and laugh at me and I would still be scared speachless.
"Oh don't worry yet aurora, I'm not going to do anything to you now. It would ruin the surprise of course!" She flung her arms up in the air.
"S-surprise?" was all I managed to say.
"Just you tell you'r little princess friends that the villans that they though were dead- well how do I put this?- might not be as dead as they seem."
The villans were alive? No that couldn't be possible. They couldn't be alive. But who's to say mallificent wasn't telling the truth? What if she was right? Was that the enemy? Or was that all a bluff? My head was too full of questions and I could feel myself starting to stumble as I tried to make my way to Samaon. He whined at me and I tried to look at him whilst blinking back tears.
"Samson we need to go home Samson." I croaked, I could feel the darkness coming as I went to get up on his back. But I only got halfway on and then it all went black...
************************************************************************************************************************
I could hear noise. People talking. although it was too blurred to understand anything that they were saying. I tried to open my eyes but they were too heavy. Had I blacked out before or after I got home. What if I could hear Mallificent and her goons, because she had found me in the forrest? No Samson wouldn't let them take me. He was a good horse. I tried to open my eyes again and I got them open a crack. Enough for the people aroung me to go quiet and crowd around me. I was beginning to hear with more clarity and I could make out the hushed silence in the room. I opened my eyes a little further and saw all of the princesses crowded around me- and Snow. Snow was the first one to talk to me. She knew what I had been through. She understands.
"Aurora honey, what happened?" Her voice was like honey.
"I-I- Mallificent-" Was all I managed to stutter.
"Did you have another dream?"
"No- Mallificent- s-she was t-there."
The whole room exploded into chatter of what? How is she alive? (Most people knew my story, the girl who slept for 100 years.)
"S-she told m-me that.... that the..." I could feel myself welling up again at the thought of her, "The villans aren't really dead!"
Everyone went completley silent. It was true, if mallificent was there, then that was all the proof I needed. The villans really werent dead, Mallificent was Alive. And so was every other villan that had tried to ruin all our happy endings.
They were all alive...
