Elsa's P.O.V

"Stop pacing Merida. You're making me nervous."

"I canny help it! They come back tae life! There's no way we can kill them! How on gods earth are we going to defeat them?!"

"Merida calm down. It's going to be okay." Anna soothed her. Or at least attempted to.

"That's easy for you tae say! You don't have tae train them all and when it comes to the crunch time it turns out even I canny kill them!" She was really wound up by now. Ever since she had discovered that her arrows can't kill any of the villans she had been freaking out just a little. A little being an understatement.

"We'll figure something out. We just need to get rid of that spell." Anna said. They all looked at me.

"Woah. Why is everyone looking at me? I can't break it I don't even know what it is."

"It's a spell." Merida dead panned. Then all of a sudden her face lit up and she started jumping around, "I know! I'll go to the witch, she'll know! Okay so I'll need... Cloak... Angus..."

"Wait what?"

"I'll go to the witch! The one who can change our fate. We can still save ourselves!" She grabbed her cloak and ran out the door.

"Just stay safe promise me that." I could hear her mother telling her. She had helped us a lot in planning our next move.

"Wait for me!" I yelled, "you can't go on your own. I'll help you."

"Then hurry up, Angus awaits us!" We ran into the stables and jumped onto Angus. We had to do this soon it was out only hope of winning. The only way we could stop us all from dying.

Angus whined and stopped, nearly sending both of us flying, we had gotten to the massive stones. All of a sudden little blue blobs (it's the only way I can describe them in all honesty) appeared one after the other in a line away into the distance. Merida started walking towards them and as she reached one it disappeared completely and more of the line appeared behind the rest of the line.

"Come on we need tae follow them will 'o the whisps!" She ran up the line of them and I followed till we got to a little shack. Merida walked in and there was a little old lady doing some carvings.

"Are you sure we're in the right place? This doesn't look like a witches cottage to me."

"Aye. This is the place."

"Hello! Welcome the the crafty woodcarvers!" The old lady stepped between us ending our debate, "what can I get for ye all?"

"We need a spell." She looked quizzically at us then seemed to recognise Merida.

"You're the wee ginger haired lassie that I have a spell to ages ago!"

"Aye and we need another one."

"Well how do you plan to pay for that?" Merida dropped something in her hand- I never saw what- and she took us outside and clicked her fingers. We walked back inside to reveal that all the wood carvings were gone and a cauldron was sitting in the middle of the room. Next thing we knew we were walking out her cottage with a new spell that was the only hope of keeping us alive.

"Okay so wait. What do we have to do to kill them with this?"

"As soon as we set it up their spell will be defective. So basically it won't work."

"So we'll be able to kill them?"

"Yeah."

We rode back to her castle with a little more hope than when we left- well I did anyway. Now we actually stood a chance.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Everyone shut it!" Merida yelled and the chatter in the hall died down, "right. That's better. Now we have a slight change of plan, we need to activate this spell," she waved the bottle, "so that we don't all die. Understand? Good. Now they'll be a signal as to when ye come out tae fight. If you go before this signal. Yer gonna die."
The room was still deadly silent.
"But on the plus side if our spell is working we won't die." Anna interjected. She was always so positive. No wonder we made such a good team.
"So wait what happens if our spell doesn't work..?" Ariel asked
"Don't even think about it." Anna warned.
"What? I just wanted to know!" She exclaimed.
"We need to stay positive. The spell will work. That's it. Okay. Positive. We have to be positive."
This is why I loved Anna. No matter how hard things were she could still make people feel better- or at least she would always try. It was pretty awesome. And so the waiting game began. All we could do was wait. And hope.
