Chapter 21

Merida's P.O.V

Weapons training. Who knew how hard that would be. Aurora couldn't even pick up a sword...

How was I supposed to make them able tae fight their own villans if they couldn't even pick up a sword! I certainly have my work cut out for me. I sighed as I left aurora behind and started to think about who would go best where. We needed a battle plan and we needed one fast. We just had tae hope that the betrayer had a change of heart. Otherwise... lets just say it really wasn't looking promising.

She looked over to where ariel sat. Supposidly practicing archery. Because a fork was totally going to teach you that.

"Ariel wit on earth are ye doing?"

"Brushing my hair." she replied casually, and started singing to herself as she ran the fork through her hair once more.

"Whats that got to do with archery?"

"Archery?"

"Archery. The thing you're supposed to be practicingright this second..."

"Oh the thing with the bow. Right?" She was really starting to get on my nerves now.

"Yes." I face palmed, "That."

"Oh I gave up on it ages ago. Look I broke a nail! I can't be doing that if I'm going to break a nail!" If she didn't shut up about her stupid nail I was going to lose it in a minute. A princess can only take so much before she snaps. And when I snap it isn't pretty. Last time I went to the witch and turned my mum into a bear.

"Right well lets try a sword then."

"No. No. No and no. I'll just stick to my fork thanks." Until now I had never really had a problem with Ariel, infact se was usually lovley. But I was just so frustraited today and I couldn't take anymor rubbish. Thats all that seemed to be spewing out of peoples mouths today. Enough was enough.

"RIGHT THAT'S IT!" I started screaming, " IF YOU DON'T AT LEAST TRY THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE! I NEED TO TRAIN YOU SO GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YER JACKSIES AND START AT LEAST TRYING!"

The whole hall was silent.

"I've had enough of people giving up. If we're going to defeat them we need to do this! Out there... Out there is every princesses worst nightmare. And if were going to have tae learn how to use weapons. Now I appreciate that some of you really are trying, and some of you are trying. And for some of you its completley new. But for once in yer lives stop thinking about yourselves. For once see the other people around you. For us all to stay alive we need to work together! Otherwise all of this..." I softened my voice as my rant was ending, "All of this will be a waste of time. And when you kissed your princes goodbye, you might as well have handed them funeral wishes. This is deadly serious and I need to train you all. It won't be easy- I'll give you that- but if you cooperate with me then at least we stand a chance. Without that, we are complete goners."

Complete goners, what a lovely thought. Not.

A/N

Hi! Yeah this is a sort of a really... really... really bad chapter. So sorry for that. (Well that's if you actually think there's any good chapters in the book but hey ho you're still here reading it so ovbiously there must be?) So which character do you like the best right now so far?

Just gonna point out that the reason its so short and crappy (lets face it) is mainly because I have a biology NAB, which is not fun, and I am trying to study like 3 months of work in two maybe three hours... Yeah it's really not working if you haven't already guessed.

Aaanywaay, enough of my life, What do you think of merida's little outburst? Was she doing the right thing? As always please feel free to comment, vote and fan. :D
