Merida's P.O.V

Well at least the ice curse was gone...

Unfortunately for me I now had to prepare everyone for the final battle. And that was not an easy task. Most of these princesses had never held a sword before, or ever shot an arrow. Well now it was time to change that. It was coming and we had to be ready.

"Good! Yes! That's right Tiana!" I yelled over to her as she managed to shoot an arrow and actually managed to hit the target. It was a start- and let's just say she was doing better than some other individuals. I turned around to check on snow, she was currently trying out a sword- a wooden one at that- and actually seemed quite into it. She was practising with aurora which was good. They both needed the practice.

"Right let's try that now with real swords." I said as I turned to get the swords from behind me.

"As I'm sharp ones that could kill us?!" Snow exclaimed," because I could never ever hurt aurora!"

"Blunt ones..." I trailed off. There would be no way that I would even trust them with a real sword. They'd probably drop it and take their toes off or something like that.

"Oh okay that makes sense."

"Yeah"

I tossed them one each and guess what... they both dropped them. No surprise there. They found the swords heavy, but we had already tried archery and let's just say it didn't go down very well.

We only had a few days before they attacked. We had gained what we needed to know from Jaiana, after she panicked and told us everything. Apparently something was going to happen to her but that's her fault for being the traitor.

I woke up to screaming. I flung open the door and raced outside to see what it was and discovered that everyone else was having the same idea. The only person who wasn't out looking was Jaiana.

"It's coming from the dungeon!" Rapunzel yelled. We all raced down to find Jaiana pulled up against the bars of her cell and a horned thing- mallificent it turned out to be later- screaming in her face.

"You betrayed me and for that you shall die!" She screeched. If it hadn't been real I would have died laughing at how cheesy that line was but this was not a good time to laugh. I grabbed my bow and shot her straight in the chest.

"Argh! I'll be back for you!" She yelled as she disappeared.

"Wait would merida's arrow not have killed her?" Rapunzel asked.

"It's a spell that stops them all from dying regardless of the injury. Duh." Jaiana replied.

Oh bother...
