The ship felt motionless as it moved through the void. With no visible stars or planets to see it was impossible to judge how fast the ship was moving through space. A violet wormhole ripped through the fabric of the void, growing in size and intensity as the ship came closer. The main engines ramped down and fell idle. Meanwhile, a hatch on the nose of the spacecraft sprang open and revealed a smaller set of engines that sprang to life and worked to slow down the ship before it crossed the loophole's horizon. The ship jettisoned out of the vortex and came to a gentle stop.

All of the young teens on board gazed out of the windows, gawking at the mostly green and blue planet looming over them. The chime rang out through the ship. "We will be descending upon Primoria shortly. It is currently late summer and the time will be 23:45." The chime rang out again, signaling the end of the announcement.

"Oh thank god we didn't get sent to a cold planet." One boy with straight black hair sighed as he sank back into his seat.

"Luckily we didn't get sent to a desert world either. At least we won't have to suffer in any deserts." Another boy with black hair mentioned. Arron studied the planet and pointed towards a cloud of rolling dust and sand as it continued across the continent.

"You don't see that sandstorm over there?" Arron questioned.

"Yeah, but the Academy is over there." The boy scoffed as he pointed towards the continent that was still experiencing the night. Arron saw the continent and all of the lights that sprinkled the land as well as the cluster of light coming from one area.

"We're going to be here for 4 years training for war on any planet." Arron stated without missing a beat.

"I'll put 10 credits on it. We aren't going to the desert." The boy said confidently as he moved his curly black hair out of his charming blue eyes.

"10 credits? Ok, bet." The boy and Arron shook hands and made the bet a formal agreement. "What's your name?"

"Charley James, what's yours?" Charley asked in return.

"Arron Grimes." Arron said with a smirk on his face.

"Well, Arron Grimes, I'll be sure to find you in the hallway when I win the bet." Charley said with a slight grin.

"Oh no you got it wrong. I'll be the one looking for you when we end up in the desert." Arron smiled.

Charley chuckled. "You know what, I think me and you are going to get along just fine."

"I think so too." Arron said as he chuckled with the other boy. Alex still sitting in his seat, overheard his brother's gamble. Everyone heard the conversation and began to look at the two brothers and whispered to each other.

"I think those two are twins." One boy whispered.

"Yeah, I bet the other one is the weird quiet one." Another boy whispered.

Alex covered his face to hide the slight blush and the slight burning sensation that came with it. "I can't take you anywhere." Alex whispered to himself. "I'm not even a part of that and you still managed to drag me into it."

Teddy giggled at the embarrassed twin. "Afraid of a little attention. Don't tell me you're the shy one."

"No, I'm not." Alex softly retorted. "I just hate when he says stupid shit and manages to make both of us look stupid." The chime rang through the ship again.

"We will be descending in 2 minutes." The chime sounded one last time. Everyone got back to their seats, the engines hummed as only nervous whispers skittered through the air. Arron smirked as he looked to his brother. Alex glanced back to Arron and formed the shaka sign as he mouthed the words "Things are great."

The ship's engines grew louder as the ship descended on the planet and hit the atmosphere. Teddy closed his eyes and then took a deep breath. "Calm down, it's just school." He whispered to himself before he opened his eyes again. Alex glanced at Teddy before exhaling from his nose.

"Don't tell me you're nervous." Alex smirked.

"Who? Me? Never." Teddy shot back quickly and quietly. Alex studied the boy for a few seconds.

"You're shaking." Alex stated coldly. "Does the stoic knight in shining armor need his hand to be held." Alex teased.

"Oh fuck you Alex." Arron said through gritted teeth. Alex rolled his eyes at his brother.

"I just hope I don't have to babysit the both of you." Alex said as he sunk deep into his seat and closed his eyes.
