Everyone boarded the shuttle quietly and in a hurry. All of the trainees were still a little shaken by their first interaction with the instructor. The interior of the shuttle was warm and inviting. The walls sported a soft grey and the floor was black with 15 wide dark blue seats on both sides of the ship. As everyone took their seats and put their bags in a luggage compartment or on the floor no one said a word. The only thing that could be heard was the faint whine of the engine as it sat idle.

Arron and Alex sat across from each other. "When was the last time we actually spent time away from mom and dad?" Alex softly whispered to his brother

"When we went to visit grandad on Bothea, not too long ago. You act like we've never spent time away from home before." Arron whispered back as he got closer to the middle aisle so he could hear his brother.

"You wanna know the difference this time?" Alex asked.

"Sure." Arron responded almost unamused.

"We're gonna be away from family for a while."

"Yeah." Arron whispered nonchalantly. A puzzled look grew on Alex.

"Aren't you nervous?" The younger twin asked.

"Not really." Arron shrugged. "I'm just worried about the Drill instructors." As he said this the instructor walked down the aisle and to the back of the shuttle. "Speaking of which, it can't be that bad, right?" Arron trailed off. Alex looked at him and did his best to hold his laughter.

"I can't tell if you're trying to convince me or if you're trying to convince yourself." Alex chuckled slightly. A short chime signaled an announcement, and a feminine voice followed soon after.

"Attention, all personnel and passengers must buckle their seatbelts. Take-off will commence in 30 seconds." After the announcement ended a rumbling started as the engines roared to life.

"Too late to back out now." Alex said with a smile on his face as he looked at his brother. The ship lifted off the ground and the nose pointed towards the sky before shooting through the air. Arron held a death grip on his chair, as his knuckles turned white. Alex looked over to Arron and a smirk grew on Alex's face. "What's the matter? Afraid of a little turbulence?" Alex teased.

"You're so lucky I'm afraid of heights, you must think you're the shit huh?" Arron said through gritted teeth and a shakey voice.

"What's that?" Alex held a hand up to his ear sarcastically. "I can't hear you, try saying that again with some base in your voice." Alex laughed.

"Fuck...... you." Arron's voice shook as he could barely say those two words.
