14. Torture

One day, Kyo came back home from his training when he suddenly felt an eerie silence. "Tohru!!" Kyo called out, to which he got no response. Somehow, the silence of the house unnerved Kyo. Nevertheless, he ignored it.

"Tohru, where are you?" Kyo called out again, when he suddenly saw a shadow. Kyo smiled. There she was. Was trying to scare him or what? "Tohru," Kyo called out as he moved towards the shadow. However, he felt a sudden pain in his neck moment, making him exclaim in pain before fainting.

Kyo was about to fall to the ground when someone suddenly came out of the shadows and caught him. "My kitten..." The person said with a smirk.

When Kyo disappeared, Akito searched every nook and corner of Tokyo with her men, starting from his college. Akito was so angry that she destroyed everything she saw in Kyo's room, or rather golden prison, where she locked him up every day.

Frustrated, Akito searched the whole room. And that's when she saw a picture of a girl in his room. It didn't take long to find out the truth from there. Tohru's identity was traced from the college.

"How dare you take my kitten away! Tohru Honda, the day I find you will be your last day on earth. Mark my words, Tohru Honda, your countdown begins." Akito shouted.

Soon after, Akito had her men search for Kyo and Tohru. When they didn't, they traced Tohru's address and went to Kyoko's house. Kyoko, who had been prepared for something like this to happen, managed to beat up at least half of Akito's men until she was shot from the back, killing her on spot.

Akito kept searching for Kyo and Tohru for two whole years, until she finally found a clue one day when a person said her description matched Tohru's. Akito instantly flew to Kyoto and bam! She found the two love birds living happily. Akito observed their routine for two days while planning her revenge.

That day, Kyo went out of the house and Akito barged inside with her men. Tohru, who thought Kyo was back, came outside her room, only to be greeted by Akito.

"Payback time, bastard." Akito shouted and hit Tohru on her head, making her faint. And then, Akito waited.

After around an hour, Kyo returned. However, Akito ordered her men not to hurt Kyo. And so, Kyo was sedated, suddenly taken by surprise. Akito caught Kyo before he could hit the ground. "My kitten..." Akito said as she looked at Kyo.

"Time to come back kitten. Runaway holiday is over. This time, I'll make sure you'll never backstab me again." Akito said before her face turned black with rage. "How dare you touch another woman! That's a mistake, kitten. A sin. Didn't I tell you not to have any friends except me? And you found yourself a lover?!Brave of you to dare do that. You should be punished for that. Punished hard indeed." Akito said while breathing heavily in anger.

Akito dragged the unconscious Kyo while her men carried the unconscious Tohru to an abandoned mine she found earlier.

When Kyo regained consciousness, he was at first confused and in pain. Suddenly, he heard a muffled grunt and turned to his right, only to find Tohru chained up to the wall and her mouth gagged, her dress stained with her blood that leaked from the injury on her head. Suddenly, Kyo remembered everything that happened a few hours ago.

Kyo struggled to get up and go near Tohru and realised that he himself was chained to a chair. "Tohru!" Kyo whispered loudly, squirming in his chair.

Suddenly, Kyo felt a hand touch his shoulder, making him freeze. Akito came up from behind Kyo and stood in front of him. "Kyo. It's been so long. Aren't you happy to see me?" Akito asked, making Kyo's breath get hitched.
