The shock of losing both his wife and child on the same day suddenly made Kyo puke out a mouthful of blood in shock and grief, shocking Akito slightly. Suddenly, Kyo's world darkened as he fell to a side, blood dripping out of his mouth.

"You monster! Stop playing this game and get up now!!" Akito shouted as she kicked him. However, Kyo only rolled over to a side like a dead body, and this time, Akito was truly scared. One her goons sat near Kyo and checked his pulse.

"He's dead, Akito-sama." He said. "Noooo!!! Kyo! Damnit, get up! You're mine!! You cannot die without my permission! GET UP NOW!!" Akito roared. She ran to Kyo's body and violently shook him, trying to wake him up.

"Take Akito-sama away from him. And bury him in a grave." Akito's prime bodyguard said. The goons dragged a hysterical and distraught Akito away from Kyo while her guards buried him. They then drove Akito away to the city.

                                                               ****************

That night, an old man entered the graveyard. He was the graveyard's night guard. He inspected the area for a while and was about to take rest in his shed, when he suddenly saw a hand burst out of a newly dug grave, scaring him out of his wits.

However, he quickly calmed himself down and ran to his room to get a spade and started digging away the soil as quickly as possible. He didn't know how long that person was buried alive. If he truly was buried for a long time, the sooner he saved him, the more chance of survival he has.

Soon after he dug away most of the soil, a man instantly got up while gasping for air and writhing violently. It was none other than Kyo.

Previously, Kyo only lost his senses in shock of losing Tohru and he became breathless because of that and his pulse became extremely weak. However, Akito's goons couldn't detect his pulse and told her he was dead. But he wasn't. He was still alive and when he regained his senses, he found himself buried under a huge pile of mud.

Luckily, since the mud was freshly dug, it was easy for him to dig his way out of it as well. However, it still was a huge pile for one person. So no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get out. And so, with the last bits of his strength, he punched the mud several times, until his hand finally managed to get out of that dark brown death trap. And fatefully, the graveyard night guard saw his hand.

The graveyard guard quickly called police, and they took Kyo to the hospital. The doctors put him in ventilation ASAP and started the treatment to revive him. However, the lack of oxygen for a long time resulted in Kyo getting hypoxia while his wounds on his back got infected due to touching mud for a long time. Also, due to coughing out blood earlier, his throat bled internally. And so, when he was buried, the blood flew to his brain, resulting in the formation of a blood clot (thrombosis) in his brain. And Kyo's mind started hallucinating.

(*Hypoxia is a condition when the body doesn't get enough oxygen to meet ends of the cells and tissues.)

                                                                 ****************

Police inspector Makoto Takei who was on duty that day, became in charge of the case and instructed the doctor to let him know as soon as Kyo woke up. The room where Kyo was in was placed under protection.

On the other hand, the officer guarding Kyo's room, Junior officer Kagura Sohma called Akira, informing him of Kyo being alive. Immediately, Akira ordered her to kill Kyo. As soon as Kagura got those instructions, she entered Kyo's ICU room and closed the door lightly. However, she didn't lock it, since Kyo's case was quite critical, it needed to remain open, or else it would raise suspicions.
