RECAP

"Come see me, you know, if and when you want to be put on birth control" Her trying was extremely sweet, but I knew if I wanted to be on the pill I could get myself on it. I mean hell; she already knew I was sexually active. Being put on the pill around her was a little too much.

She finally walks back up towards the house, leaving me to think. I didn't want to think about it though. So I stood up and took off running; I know I didn't have any shoes or running shorts on but I had to go. I didn't know where I was going or what I was running too, but I was leaving all of the thoughts behind on that one spot of the beach.

I hope yall enjoy it!

It was Tuesday, that meant back to work; which, I didn't mind at all. I kind of missed Tanner and all the quiet time I usually got. It was a perfect time to keep working on my book.

The bookstore was quiet and peaceful. I sat behind the front desk and opened my lap top. Ideas started flowing out of my mind as I began typing.

Suddenly, I am interrupted by my cell phone ringing. I pick it up to see who it was. Izzy.

"Hello?"

"So. Do you work tomorrow?" Izzy didn't even say hello back. She was always straight forward.

"I work in the morning, but I am off tomorrow afternoon." I answer.

Izzy sighed in relief. "Thank god."

I was completely lost, "Why?"

"You're coming with me tomorrow, to help Charlie find a wedding dress."

The words she said didn't quite set well with me. All I caught was Charlie, wedding dress, and tomorrow. I knew Danny hadn't broken things off this soon, but damn, she was in a hurry to find a wedding dress for a wedding that was almost a year away.

"Sam? Please come. I can't take the torture of having to spend the day with her all by myself." Her pleading didn't really help. I didn't want to go help Danny's fiancé find a wedding dress. Not even in the least.

"Iz, if you don't want to go. Then don't."

"That's the thing. Mom and Dad are making me go. So I can have bonding time with Charlie. Please"

I hear the front door bell ring. Looking up I see Tanner and Emily walking in. I smile and wave to them both. I continue talking to Izzy though, "Izzy, when they say bonding time with Charlie, they mean you. Not me." I laugh.

"Really Sam? If it was for you, you know I would be there in a heart beat." Izzy was right, but she didnt have any idea what had gone on between Danny and me.

Tanner knew that we were conversating about Danny and Charlie. He gives me a sheepish look.

"Fine, Izzy if it's that big of a deal. I will go." I couldnt make it a big deal about not wanting to go. Izzy had no idea about me and Danny. If I said I didnt want to go because of Charlie, that would probably make her start wondering.

She wouldn't stop begging, so I finally told her what she wanted to her. Even though I really didn't want to go. Having to watch the guy, that I am in love with's, fiancé try on wedding dresses would be torture.

I finally hang up and slam my phone onto the counter."Ughhhhh. Shit. Shit. Shit." I sigh, and then I notice Tanner and Emily gazing at me from the other side of the counter. I must have forgotten they were standing there. Immediately, I smile "Hey guys." I flashed them a warm smile.
