14: Robin

It has almost been a week since Ella and I went on our date, but we never stopped texting ever since. Only to sleep but most of the time we were talking when we needed to sleep. We have decided to make our Sunday date days such a cute idea. Every week we switch who is the one organizing the date. I am curious what the idea from Ella is for this date. Before I could even let my mind get any ideas I got a text from Ella.

Ella: Hi there, are you ready for our date tomorrow?

Robin: I am born ready, I am so curious to know what it is 🙂

Ella: Okay here are the details: I'll meet you at your house at 2:00 PM. The dress code is 90's theme but it needs to be comfortable because you will be actively moving.

Robin: Wow okay, I am excited. Should I pick you up before 2:00 PM or are you coming to me by train?

Ella: It is my date idea and I haven't told you yet but I own a driver's license and I can borrow my mom's car she doesn't need to use it. But thank you for the over but I will be the one driving this time 😉

Robin: Okay I can't wait!

We texted for a while, but then I got up and grabbed my notebook. It's time to get my mind a little bit organized. I find it scary that I am catching feelings so fast for Ella, but I have an amazing time. I plan my outfit for tomorrow and wish Ella goodnight. Can't wait till it is time!

It is finally almost time! I am waiting till I see Ella pull up at my house. I am excited. She is there. I run to the door and almost fall. I need to calm myself down a bit. Okay, I am ready and open the door.

"Hey Ella, so nice finally seeing you again in real life and not just talking over text. I am so excited for the date."

She giggled: "Hi Robin, you should be excited it will be amazing. I am not so sure if I can ever outdo last week's date but this will be fun too."

We walk to her car and she starts driving. It isn't far from my house but I am not sure where we are going. Within a short time, Ella has parked her car and we walk inside a huge building. Everything is retro-themed and I see signs with arcade hall and so much more. "This looks amazing!" I tell her.

"Wait till you know what we are going to do!" She says back.

I am so excited and can't wait. We walk the stairs down and I hear great music mostly 90's music. And she rollerskates on the wall. "Wait are we going to rollerskate" I almost scream in excitement..

"Yes we are, I hope you don't hate me now". She laughed back.

"Why will I hate you for this I always wanted to rollerskate, so I will never hate you for this"

We search for skates with the right size and put them on. I almost fell right away it is so different from inline skates, which I did when I was younger. We take each other's hand and set foot on the floor. We are fast getting better at it and before I know Ella can turn and skate backwards.

"You must have done this more no way you can skate this good in one time."

She starts smiling: "When I was younger my dream was to skate like you see all those people do on the ice, only I wanted to do that on rollerskates. I bought rollerskates and started practicing but it didn't take long to discover it was more difficult than I thought. So once the skates didn't fit anymore I stopped and now I haven't done it in five years."

I say "So I guess I am the one who is good at skating here" trying to sound sad but I can't. We have so much fun together it is incredible.

Time flies by it is almost 6:00 PM and I can skate backwards. I am making progress and it is so much fun. We decide to stop skating and it is time to get some dinner in the restaurant here. It looks amazing and it is more like a fast food/ diner but it is delicious.

After eating some dinner we aren't going back to rollerskating instead we go to an arcade hall. There are so many fun games we start playing and after a while, we get something to drink. There is a dance game and Ella is trying her best to convince me to play it with her. After a while, we make the deal. I will play with her if she kisses me and if she loses from me she will have to do a car race game with me.

We play for a long time and then Ella says we have to go to one thing before the night is over. She takes me to a hallway with I guess small rooms and takes me into one. That's when I see it, it is a small karaoke room.

"No way, you are getting me to sing karaoke!" I say laughing.

"Who says you have to.. no one. But I would love to if you did but because you are afraid I will start first." She says joking.

She starts singing and she sings well. It is amazing after she is finished I take the other microphone and start singing. We spent a long time singing, dancing and just listening to music. It is getting later and later. It is almost midnight when we leave and go home.

"Thank you for this date, Ella, I enjoyed it!" I say

Ella says "No problem at all I enjoyed it very much" and kiss me.

I think I never can get over how soft het lips are, it is almost addicting. Ella drives me home and we say our goodbyes. Because she has a thirty-minute drive to her house to go and it is late I insist that she will text me when she is home. So for now it is waiting till she texts me. Meanwhile, I shower and get ready to go to sleep. When I get into my bed I receive the text.

Ella: I am home safe, it was fun today xx.

I smile it is good to know she is safe at home and text back.

Robin: Good, it was fun for sure can't wait for our next date. But next Sunday (seven days is much 😉)is so far from here should we meet up again on Wednesday?

Ella: you really can't wait, haha! Let me check my schedule because I am not sure if I have to work.

Robin: That is good! I am going to sleep now, sleep well! <3

Ella: Sleep well, I will let you know tomorrow! xx.
