"Wait... So you are a Nogitsune?" A vampire student asked for the fifth time and Y/n felt a headache forming.
"For the millionth time, yes... What don't you understand?" Y/n growled as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
"What I don't understand is how you expect us to believe you," The blond-haired vampire scoffed as he crossed his arms over his chest. "No one has seen a Nogitsune in years, you could be lying to look cool..."
"I don't lie..."
"Bullshit, everyone lies!" The vampire glared at Y/n.
"The only bullshit thing I see is how your mother told you that you could be anything you want but she didn't tell you that the options were limited to either being a cunt, bloody retarded or god damn ugly and yet you Somehow chose all three," Y/n smirked as he leaned back on the couch, watching the vampire's hands curl into fists as he looked at Y/n, veins beginning to bulge around his eyes.
"That's enough," Alaric's voice called out as he entered the lounge area, eyes shifting from the vampire to the rest of the students around them who were chuckling at Y/n's comment and then finally settling on the Nogitsune. "Kurama, you're with me today," He muttered before motioning for Y/n to follow him.
"Kurama?" Y/n narrowed his eyes as he watched Alaric enter the room. "You son of a... Get back here!" Y/n practically yelled as he chased after Alaric.
"Hey, girls," Y/n finally caught up to the hunter as Alaric walked over to his daughters, Josie was dressed casually while Lizzie was already wearing her sports outfit. "Listen..."
"Don't do it," Josie quickly cut her father off as her gaze shifted between Alaric and Y/n momentarily. "Don't you dare say whatever it is you're about to say," She repeated, earning a confused look from both Alaric and Y/n. "Because you have Dad-Face and wherever Dad-Face goes, daughter disappointment always follows," She clarified.
"I'm sorry but I won't be able to make it to the game today," Alaric muttered, half apologetic.
"But you're the coach..." Josie stared at her father in disbelief.
"And I'm QB 1 this year," Lizzie whined as she looked at Alaric.
"I know and I hate it as much as you do," Alaric let out a sigh as he looked at the twins. "But I have to find Landon Kirby," He added.
"Okay, then let's cancel," Josie suggested with a smile, hope filling her eyes as she looked at her father. "I mean, it's a joke anyway, we can't use our powers so we suck," She explained with a disappointed tone.
"Exactly, which is a normal 'School for troubled rich kids' thing," Alaric explained. "This annual event lets the locals see you for who they think you are,"
"Pathetic nobodies with addiction problems, mental disorders or good-for-nothing parents..." Y/n rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the wall.
"Y/n..." Alaric glared at the Nogitsune.
"His right, they mock us..." Lizzie spoke, her voice filled with pain as she looked at her father with saddened eyes.
"Because they're insecure small-town kids with small minds, so just let it be," The older man spoke, his softer as he looked at his daughters. "Look girls, with Landon running around, knowing all our secrets, we have to protect our profile now more than ever," Alaric explained.
"Which means you need to look at least twenty times dumber out there," Y/n's sarcasm earned him a glare from both father and brunette daughter while Lizzie just shrugged her shoulders, seeming to agree with his irritation.
