I woke up in the morning to find Paul out of bed. As I got out of bed, I could smell breakfast coming from the kitchen. I went into the kitchen to find a plate of scrambled eggs and toast on the table with a note beside it. The note read:
"To the dearest love of my life, Eden: I had to go into the studio early today. Sorry I didn't tell you last night and you looked so peaceful sleeping this morning so I decided not to wake you. If breakfast is cold, feel free to reheat it. I hope you slept well and feel free to come down to the studio after you get ready. All my loving,
Paul."
The breakfast was still warm, so I figured that Paul had left recently. I ate my breakfast and then proceeded to hop in the shower and get dressed. I decided on some jean capris and a white button up. I put my hair up in a bun and did minimal makeup. I put my glasses on and brushed my teeth, then I decided to walk down to the studio that Paul showed me last night on our drive home. It wasn't that far from his home.
I made it to the studio in about 5 minutes and walked in to find all the boys working on a song and Brian was listening outside the studio. "Morning, Brian!" I said cheerfully. "Oh, good morning, Eden. How are you liking England so far?"
"I'm quite enjoying it. It's really a nice change from America."
"That's good. The boys will be having a break in an hour or so. Paul should be available then."
"Okay. I think I will just hang around and listen then."
"Make yourself at home. There is a little kitchen down the hallway if you need something and the bathroom is right next to it."
"Thank you, Brian."
The boys kept recording and finally they finished the song they were working on. Paul came out of the studio and plopped down beside me on the couch. He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my cheek.
"Good to see your beautiful face here, love."
"I could say the same to you."
"Oh, don't flatter me, love."
"How much longer do you guys have to be here today?"
"Hold on, love, I'll ask. Brian?!? How much longer do we have?"
"You guys are free to go. Until tomorrow, that is. Tomorrow we will have to get at least three songs done."
"Thanks, Eppy!" John responded, walking out of the kitchen.
I scooted as close to Paul as possible and Paul gave John a glare. John immediately realized why, being that I was there.
"I'm going to go pack up my acoustic, love, and then we can head out."
"Alright, Paul, I'm going to grab some water from the kitchen before we go."
Paul kissed me very passionately for being in public, just to prove a point to John.
I went into the kitchen, knowing that John would follow me. I got a cup of water and turned around to find John leaning against the door.
"You told him, didn't you?" John asked.
"John, I'm sorry, but I had to."
"It's okay. I really shouldn't have done that in the first place. Just promise me you won't tell anyone else. Especially Cynthia. I really don't want to lose her and I'm scared I will if she finds out I messed up again."
"I won't, John. I just feel that I need to be 100% honest with Paul."
"I understand. I think tomorrow I'm going to come clean to Paul and be honest with him. I don't want to ruin our friendship. It means so much to me."
"I think you should do that." I finished my cup of water and proceeded to exit the kitchen, but not before giving John a kiss on the cheek. "Thank you, John."
