Paul and I continued to drive. Eventually, we made it out of London and into a small town. Paul started taking side roads and we wound up on the side of the road near a field filled with flowers and trees, so basically a forest. However, there was a clearing in the center that from what I could see, was lit up. Paul got out of the car and opened my door and took my hand.
"Right this way, my lady."
"Such a gentleman." I kissed he cheek and we walked into the clearing that I spotted earlier.
The clearing was outlined by candles and there were rose petals everywhere.
"Paulie, how did you do this?"
"I had a little help from my friends." He smiled and kissed me. It was quite chilly outside, so I had an idea.
"Ringo, George! Come out from behind the trees and go to the car! You need to get yourselves warmed up!"
"Love-" Paul got cut off by the rustling of bushes and Ringo and George came into the clearing.
"George ran up and hugged me and so did Ringo. "Thanks, Eden, you really save our toes." George said.
"We'll be in the car!" Ringo said pulling George towards the car.
"Wait!" Paul said. "You might need these!" Paul tossed George the keys and the two of them ran off to the car.
"Now that we're alone," Paul whispered in my ear, "It's time for your surprise."
"We're not going to have sex right here, are we?"
"Goodness! No, Eden. Not with George and Ringo so close! I think you will like it better than sex, though."
"I don't know, Paulie. The feeling of you inside me is the best in the world." I kissed his lips passionately and he pulled me to him.
"Eden," Paul said as he pulled away, "I want you to know that I love you with all my heart and I've been waiting for ages for a girl like to to come along. I don't care where you're from, but I never want us to be apart, I promise you that. If you ever return to the future, you find me and I will keep my promise. I love you Eden Reagan West, more than anything in the world." Paul got down on his knee and I knew what was coming. "Will you do me the incredible honor of becoming my wife?"
Tears started streaming down my face and I got down on my knees and whispered, "Yes, Paul." He slid the gorgeous diamond ring on my finger and I jumped onto him and we fell to the ground.
"I love you so much, Paul. So, so much."
"I love you too, my honey pie."
"After two years, you still remember?"
"Of course. I will never forget you!"
"We better get going, Paul. It's cold and I bet George and Ringo need some more warmth."
"Whatever you say, Mrs. McCartney."
"Not yet, Paul."
"I'm ready for it though."
"I am too. I love you."
Paul picked me up bridal style and ran with me to the car.
"Look what I got, boys! I found a wife!"
George and Ringo clapped for us and back to London we went.
I was getting married and I was silently praying that nothing would ever change this life I have.
