-Reunion- (NOCO)

Part 2

-Cody's POV-

I woke up by a streak of light shining across my face, I groaned and sat up. I looked to my window, realizing I didn't shut my curtains fully. Grabbing my phone, I remembered it was reunion day, sure I was excited, but I was still tired.

The same old routine happened again, getting up, picking clothes mindlessly, making cereal and sitting down on my old, worn out couch, watching some dumbass gameshow that slightly interested me. Hey, I think I was beginning to sound like Noah!

I looked at the time on my cracked phone screen, it was 1:56pm, I got up and picked up my car keys from the table. Walking out, I looked to my side at the white wall, that seemed to be growing mold, realizing how much unhappier I've gotten over the years. Probably the effect of Sierra! And then it hit me..

There's a high chance I would see
Sierra again.

She had been looking for me the past few years, but I got tired of her and locked myself away in my apartment. Sure, I went out to my shitty job as a cashier and went to get groceries, but other then that I isolated myself from reality in fear of seeing her horrid face.

I carried on walking out, cautious of seeing her. I did begin regretting going, but I decided to go. I got into my car, started it and headed for the restaurant.

-Noah's POV-

I rang my boss the second I woke up, telling her I wouldn't be able to go in today. She said it was fine and not to worry, I picked out my clothes carefully. I had chosen some jeans with a black t-shirt, and I decided to bring a plain white jumper incase I got cold.

I re-read the letter, The Nirid Restaurant, I think that's the restaurant me and my ex girlfriend, Emma, had our first date at. An interesting coincidence, of course, but I brushed past it anyways and yanked my bedroom door open, slamming it shut behind me.

I grabbed my car keys off the side, and got into my car. I looked in the back, where there was stacks of books piled on the gray seats. I started driving to the restaurant, which was around 30 minutes away.

-Cody's POV-

I parked outside of the restaurant, the 'restaurant' looked like an overly decorated, posh bar. I sat in my car, rethinking my choice to come, I was very nervous and anxious about seeing Sierra, if she even got invited to come.

I got out after a few minutes and clasped the handle of the door, this was it, reunion time. I opened the door and walked in, I scanned the room for Sierra, luckily, she wasn't here. I sighed in relief.

The people I did see were Tyler, accompanied by Alejandro sitting next to him, Lindsay and Beth having a small chat at a table near to them,  Harold on his phone, Duncan and Courtney who seemed to be being all lovey dovey with eachother and Justin with Trent, an odd pair if I do say so myself, but I guess it was sweet.

They all turned to look at me, I stood in the doorway awkwardly, Trent got up and walked over to me while the rest stayed sat down, giving me a smile and a wave, other than Tyler and Alejandro, who carried on chatting to eachother, and Duncan who stayed staring at Courtney.

"Hey! Nice seeing you Cody, How've you been?" He said, looking into my eyes as his, I guess boyfriend, Justin, was sat at the table glaring at us both. "Good I guess, what about you?" I replied with a smile.

"I'm doing alright, you're quite early by the way, lots of the others should arrive soon." He said in a calm tone, "Why don't you come sit with me and Justin?" He added, pointing over to the table Justin and him were recently sat at.

"Sure, I'd be happy too!" I followed him to the table and sat down, I looked at Justin, weirdly, it looked like he had barely aged, as Trent had small eyebags and bushy eyebrows. Other than that, he looked the same I guess, his hair was a tad bit longer but that's it.

We chatted as the others arrived, then, somebody coming through the door caught my eye.

-Noah's POV-

I parked up down the side of the restaurant, I rubbed my eyes grabbed my phone to check if I was here on time. It was 3:17pm, maybe I was a little late because I made a stop at a small store to get a drink. I got out of the car and strutted over to the door with my head high.

I tried to open the door but I couldn't. I rattled it and the door opened as I tumbled into the restaurant, alot of them stayed chatting with they're old friends or whatever, but I noticed one boy looking at me, it was Cody.

He had messy brown hair and gorgeous teal eyes that sparkled in the light that hit them. Somehow, he still had his tooth gap and geeky look.

He gave my a large smile and patted the chair next to him, indicating for me to sit next to him. Why did he want me to sit next to him? I hoped I looked alright. I strolled over to him and sat down.

"Hey Noah! I like your hair, it looks longer!" He exclaimed giving me a smirk. "Gee, thanks, you look so different." I said in a sarcastic tone, this made him laugh a little.

He randomly passed me a yellow sticky note with his number on it, giving me finger guns. God, he was the geekiest geek ever, but why was it so cute? I don't know, but I picked up the sticky note and put it in my pocket.

I then felt a small tug on my hair, it was Cody trying to put it into some funky style. I let out a tiny, TINY chuckle. I have no idea why he loved my hair so much, it wasn't even that long, it reached my shoulders and was quite silky.

"So where do you live at the minute, Cody? With your mom?" I laughed at my cocky statement, and looked at him as he answered. "I live in an apartment, it's quite old and cramped, I kinda wanna move out." He replied, with a small giggle.

I could see Trent and Justin watching us and whispering to eachother, I was confused, but continued talking to Cody. I don't really know how we just started talking again so quickly, we just did I guess.

As we were talking, the door flew open.
