I woke up by a hand moving my short brown hair. When I opened my eyes, I saw into Lord Ambrose's eyes. A smile formed in his face. He spoke calm and quietly, "Good morning, love." I responded, "Good morning, my lord." He asked, " How did you sleep, love?" I asked, "Good, my lord." Adelaide moved and was waking up too. Lord Ambrose took her into his arms and spoke softly, "Oh, sweetie. Did we wake you up? I'm so sorry, sweetie." She mumbled, "Nooo. Is he still here?" He asked, " Who, sweetie?" Adelaide answered, "The pretty guy. He bathed me with Lawrence and he stayed with me." Lord Ambrose giggled, "Do you mean the new servant, sweetie?" She nodded. He responded, "I think you should turn around, sweetie." She turned around and jumped at me. Then she cheered loudly, "You stayed! Thank youuuuuu for staying!" I replied, "There is no need to thank you, my lady." Lord Ambrose disagreed, "No, love. She has to be taught to be thankful and grateful. Do not dare to tell her otherwise. It would be disrespectful to me." Quickly I responded, "I'm so sorry, my lord." Then I looked to the ground and closed my eyes shortly after. I was prepared for the lord to hit me. Adelaide stood up and escaped the room. Lord Ambrose asked, "What are you doing, love?" I answered while opening my eyes a little, "I'm waiting for my punishment." He whispered, "Oh. He is traumatized." In just a a second his arms were wrapped around me. He spoke softly, "I'm sorry. I should have known that you would react in this way. Are you alright? Maybe I should help you to relax. Hm. But How? Do you would like to take a bath? Oh. You are still smelling like Darjeeling tea. Did I forget to tell Lawrence to bath you?" I pushed him a little away and responded, "I'm fine. But I will be taking a bath. I'm so sorry. I did not know that I still smelled like that. I will bath right away." He all the sudden picked me up and brought me to the bathroom. There he let bathwater in while taking off my clothes. I tried to escape his grasp without success. He rang the bell and shortly after Lawrence arrived. His face turned a little red. He asked, "How may I be of service, my lord?" Lord Ambrose answered, " I need new clothes for him. Oh. And new soap for him." Lawrence replied, "Right away, my lord. Would you like me to bath him?" The lord shook his head before continuing, "No, I will be doing it myself." Lawrence interjected, "My lord. You do not have to do that. I will do i-" Lord Ambrose declared, "No! I said what I said. Now take my orders! I will not repeat myself, Lawrence." A little colour from Lawrence's face was drained and he left without saying another word. But when the things were brought it was not Lawrence who brought them, but Nathaniel. He just put them in and then left. Lord Ambrose picked me up again and put me into the water. In the middle of everything. I asked, " Why are you doing this, my lord?" He didn't reply to me at all. For a moment he was just looking at me before he continued washing me. I was allowed to dress myself but Lord Ambrose was watching my every step. I felt quite uncomfortable. So, I asked, " Did I do something wrong? Or why are you watching me, my lord?" He answered, "Not you. You are innocent, love." Suddenly, I felt his arms around me. I tired to push him away but he just held on tighter. He begged, "Please let me hold you forever like this, love." I didn't know what to do but I thought that he might be needing a hug. That was the reason why I put my arms around him too. From him I heard a slight gasp as if he didn't expect that I would do this. We stayed like this for a few minutes. When he let go of me, he moved far away from me. There he looked at me and left quickly. I was a little confused and thought, " Why is the lord acting so weirdly now? He started to act weird after I said sorry to him. Why did he whisper that someone is traumatized? Could he have meant me? But it is a normal reaction to apologize to someone after you did something wrong. Maybe I shoul-" I was pulled out of my thoughts when Lawrence entered the bathroom. He said, "Oh sorry. I thought that since the lord was downstairs that you would have also left too."I asked, "Does the lord usually do something like washing his servants?" Lawrence shook his head and explained, "There was a servant he did that for but ever since he has been trying to avoid getting so close to his servants. Of course. He still has a friendly bond to us. I was actually surprised that he insisted on washing you. That usually means that he likes you but he will try to avoid any feelings towards his servants." I asked, "So, what happend to that other servant? Was he killed?" Lawrence answered, "No, but he was turned into a werewolf by Lord Maxwell." Then Lawrence started to tidy up the bathroom, but explained, "I know that I just said Lord Maxwell but you might now know him. He is the father of our little Adelaide and he is a-" I interrupted him, "He is the alpha of a pack that is the London pack or also known as the phoenix pack." Lawrence looked at me shock and started to ask, " How did you-?" But I interrupted him, " I lived her for a few years before and have always dealt with vampires and werewolves but the part about him being Adelaide's father was new to me." Lawrence asked, "How can it be that you have dealt with them all your life? They usually let us humans be." I knew that I kind of exposed myself but I tried to save myself by saying, "Oh. I do not know. I just have dealt with them for such a long time." The thing was that the part about having been here for a few years was a lie, but I was not going to expose myself. Lawrence asked, "How old are you anyway?" I just shook my head before answering, " I do not know." Actually I knew how old I was but it would freak him out. Lawrence seemed worried but stayed quiet. Lawrence seemed worried but stayed quiet. I just left and went into the living room where Nathaniel was playing piano by himself. Nathaniel was completely focused on playing that he hadn't noticed me at all. When he finished the song, I clapped an scared him with that. Quickly, he stood up and asked, "How long have you been standing there?" I answered, "A while. You played so beautifully and I did not want to interrupted you." He thanked me and asked, " Can you dance? I would love if someone would dance with my music." I nodded and answered, "Of course. But I would still need another person." Suddenly a voice said, " I can dance with you." I turned around. I thought that I would never see him again. His name was Professor Doctor Raymond Lynch. He was a werewolf. Not only that but he was the beta of the London pack and the lover of my older brother. Nathaniel spoke, "Oh Professor. What a pleasure to see you around. How do we own the pleasure?" Raymond answered, " Lord and Lady Maxwell wanted to see their daughter and I decided to tag along since I heard that Lord Ambrose had a new servant from his last appointment." Nathaniel replied, "Oh. This is Sebastian." Raymond responded, "I know. Hello Sebastian." I bowed and said, "Hello Raymond. I did not expect that the world would be this small. I am sorry for what I have done to you when we last saw each other." He smiled slightly before talking, " The world is indeed a small place. I did not expect you to apologize the next time we saw each other. How have you been?" All the sudden Lord Ambrose entered the room with Adelaide and her parents. Adelaide jumped and ran towards Raymond before jumping onto him. Raymond greeted her with a smile, "Hello, my lady. Wonderful seeing you again." Adelaide responded, "Hello Rayray. Yes indeed. Oh. Have you met my new friend, yet?" He answered, " If you mean Sebastian, than yes." Lady Maxwell laughed, " I guess that is your new servant." Lord Ambrose nodded and responded, " Yes. You guessed correctly." She replied, "I thought you said that you do not have a type and that he was not your type if you did, but I can clearly see that you do." Lord Ambrose defended himself, "No. No. No. Sebastian is different than the usual servants I get. I got him from my appointment with the three from that vampire queen. His master spat and threw a tea at him and made him stand there soaking wet." Raymond looked worried at me and I tried to tell with a gaze that I'm alright. Lady Maxwell asked, " Oh? You know that you still have a type right?" Lord Ambrose rolled his eyes and asked, "To what do I own the pleasure for the visit?" She answered, "Can we not visit our daughter?" He sighed. Raymond spoke up, "Also some vampires have been pestering the pack. We have come to the person that can tell them off, which is you, my lord." Lord Ambrose asked, "So, no friendly visit from my dearest friends?" Lord Maxwell answered, " Sadly not. Adelaide cried, "No one is visiting me." Raymond responded, "I am here to visit you, my lady, and I am sure that your parents will return once the business has been dealt with but till then I will stay with you." Adelaide cheered, "Yay. Rayray is going to play with me." Lord Ambrose spoke up, "Professor! Treat Adelaide with care. I do not want that anything happens to her." Raymond bowed and said, "Yes, my lord. The little one is safe with me." With that they were gone. Adelaide cheered, "Up! Up!" With a smooth sweep Adelaide was picked up from her feet and was now held by Raymond. Adelaide asked, "Can we go into my room? I have some new toys." Raymond waved us goodbye and left for Adelaide's room. Nathaniel whined, "Now you do not have a partner to dance with." Just the second Nathaniel finished his sentence Lawrence entered the room. Nathaniel jumped up and ran towards Lawrence. Lawrence tried to move out of the way but Nathaniel was faster and pushed him to the ground. Nathaniel demanded, "Lawrence. You need to dance with Sebastian." Lawrence sighed and responded, "At least act like you are giving me a choice, but sure I will." I helped both of them up and Nathaniel moved back to the piano. Lawrence offered me to lead the dance and whispered to me, " I can not dance. Help me please. I do not want to appear like a fool." I nodded and we started to dance as soon as the music was playing. Lawrence didn't even dance that badly. At the end cheered Nathaniel to us, "So beautiful! Thank you two! Very lovely!"
