~ Chapter 15 ~

It was Alexander, but something seemed off about him. I tried ignore and went over to hug him. He gave me a hug too but quickly pulled away from me. My mother asked, "Are you the 'master of my son?" Alexander answered, "Yes, your grace. May I take him with me?" My mother replied, "Sure, but he has somethings he has to pack before you can go." He looked at me. I took him by his arm into my room, where I asked, "Is something wrong?" He answered, "Of course not." While I packed some of my things, I asked, "Did you get the others, yet?" He answered, "Yes. Of course." The more I talked to him the more I realized that something was very much wrong with him. I walked over to him and held his face in my hands. He asked, "Why are you doing this?" I answered, "Something is wrong with you, and I can not put my finger on to what. Just look at me." He replied, "There is nothing wrong with me." I responded, "Your eyes have dilated eyes. The smell that you usually have is a rosy scent but it is a heavy smoky scent." He said, "I am fine. There is nothing wrong with me." I asked, "What do you feel towards me?" He answered, "Nothing. Why should I? You are my servant." I replied, "Because you said that you love me just before you left." He looked confused and muttered, "Why do I not feel anything towards him?" I hugged him and comforted him, "It is alright. I will stay with you." He responded, "I am sorry." I asked, "Why am I the last one you are getting?" He answered, "I was quite busy with Ciadra....my fiancé." I asked, "Since when do you have a fiancé?" He answered, "I-I do not know." I felt like someone put a dagger through my heart. Some tears were rolling down my face. Even though I knew that something was terribly wrong with him, I went with him. I thought that if I had a chance of fixing it, it would have to be by his side. When we walked past Maximillian, I gave him a sign that something was up. He nodded towards me to signal that he understood. As soon as we entered his carriage, he demanded, "Satisfy me, slut! As we arrived at home, I was greeted by Nathaniel, who jumped at me, but we could only see each other for a short amount of time, because Alexander took me with him.
