cooking with niki (nishimura riki)

- it all started bc u saw a 'couples cooking' video on yt

- wanted to try out cooking with niki

-the most you'd ever done with him before this was make sandwiches and some instant ramen

- went up to him one day and brought him to the kitchen as you told him all about the video and how you'd never seen him cook so you wanted to try it out

- spent a while looking through the food at the dorm before deciding on making tteokbokki

- making tteokbokki is pretty simple

- all you have to do is cook the rice cakes with some sauce and you can add whatever toppings you want like cheese etc 

- you had been the one to make the sauce while he had the task of cooking the rice cakes when you finished

- once you finished the sauce you found him taking selfies on his phone along with pictures of you cooking

- forced him to get focused and start his part which he whined a bit about before doing as you said

- get the cheese and place it into the pan while he's cooking

- he starts to complain about how boring it is

- you scold him and tell him to get back to stirring the tteokbokki

- you're sitting on the counter scrolling through your phone as you wait for him to finish when he comes up to you and starts peppering your face with kisses

- get distracted for a bit before you realize he left the food

- you scold him and push him before getting off the counter and checking to see if the food burnt or not

- it didn't luckily

- turn the burner off and tell him to get two bowls so you can eat your food you just made

- both sit next to one another on the couch as you both try your food

- it came out rlly good actually

- both extremely proud of yourselves
