I followed Jake as we walked through the woods. I looked at the ground, making sure I didn't trip over any branches or rocks as I followed my best friend. Either way, we were barefoot and it hurt my feet but I endured it.

We finally made it to the little cliff that was over a lake. The water, a light blue color, was so clear that you could see the bottom.

Jake pointed out ahead of us as I carefully stepped on the rock with him.

"Look at the view." He said, his accent being enough to give me butterflies. Actually, everything about him gave me butterflies.

"It's pretty." I said.

"You're prettier." Jake teased with a smile.

I playfully rolled my eyes as I looked away from him and out at the woods and the water.

"Ready?" Jake asked me.

I looked down at the water, "Yeah." I softly tell him.

"Three," He starts counting down.

"Two, one!" We then said together.

Jake jumped a second before me and I followed after him. I shut my eyes as I jumped down to the water. I then felt my feet hit the water first before my full body was submerged under the water.

I swam up so that my head was out of the water as I stayed afloat, kicking my legs and moving my arms to keep me from going under the water. Jake came up as well.

"Come on." He says.

We swam through the water, the both of us swimming under the water, laughing, talking, and just having fun.

After being in the water for a bit, we swam to a more shallow area. The feeling of my wet clothes sticking to my skin was uncomfortable but I didn't mind.

Jake and I were deep enough that our lower halves of our body were submerged under the water while the rest of our bodies weren't.

"Can I say something?" I asked Jake who nodded, waiting for me to talk. "Don't think I'm crazy or judge me for this or whatever.." I clarify before I even say what I wanted to say.

"I'm not gonna judge you, Y/N." Jake tells me, putting his hand on my arm and rubbing it before letting go.

"Something feels... off lately." I say.

"What do you mean?" Jake asks me.

"I don't know. I can't explain it but there's something in the air that's telling me there's something wrong." I told him.

He doesn't say anything as he brings his hand up to my face, moving my wet hair that was sticking to my wet skin, off of me. We both looked into one another's eyes.

"I-" Jake was about to say something but he was cut off by the sound of someone calling our names.

Jake's hand retracts from my face and we both look over at whoever was calling us, which turned out to be Jungwon.

"We're going soon. Come on." Jungwon tells us.

Jake tells him we'll catch up and Jungwon goes off, leaving us alone.

"We should... go get changed." I say, considering we were both wet.

Jake nods, "Yeah, come on." Jake says, grabbing my hand and taking me with him out of the water.
