Aaliyah walked over to her side of the bed removing the pillows so she could lay down, "Aaliyah, don't ignore me when I'm trying to have a civilised conversation with you" Josh said as he looked at her from the other side of the bed. "Your talking to other guys, do you think I'm okay with that?" he said staring at her, he didn't know how to feel, "It was one guy and we were barely even speaking to each other" she said, she managed to pull the sheets back and get into the comfy king sized bed.
They were currently in Houston, the visit with Josh family was going well so far, they've been out here for a week and had 2 days left. The couple had been out of the UK for 2 weeks, they were in Dubai first, DBlock and Josh were filming a music video. They were currently staying at an Air bnb with their daughter who was asleep in a travel cot by their bed. Whilst Aaliyah was taking a shower, she received a text message from Reuben who was checking in to see if she was okay because he hadn't heard from her. He was aware of Aaliyah's situation and he was good to do anything Aaliyah felt comfortable with, even if it was just being a friend. Josh decided to read through her conversations with him, although he didn't see anything inappropriate, he just didn't like the fact she was in communication with a footballer. "I read you guys whole chat you know, so let me know what's going on because I thought we were trying to make things work?" he said as he sat down on the bed still looking at her, this time his face was irritated. "You went through my phone? Is that what we're doing now?" Aaliyah said deflecting, she had a really good day with Josh and hanging out with his 'new siblings'. "Aaliyah, what's going on?" he said simply, he didn't want to loose his temper with her because their daughter was asleep and it wasn't in his nature to ever behave that way with her.
She sighed as she got comfortable in bed. "I met him at Azrael's lounge grand opening, we spoke a little bit but that was it then when I went to DR he had followed me on Instagram and we would talk here and there then when you told me that you slept with Jorja, we did talk a bit more like on the phone but this was through Instagram. I don't like him in that way" she said, he processed the information staring at her and he was hurt, really hurt.
"Do you want to be with me?" Josh asked her after a long silence, "I do but I'm trying to move past what had happened, I just feel like there was other girls or you could possibly do it again" she said as she sunk into the big pillows. "I promise, like on everything I love and care about, I've never touched anyone else or done anything with any other girl. The Jorja situation was poor of me and I shouldn't have done that but before and after that, I've only ever been with you and I want us to work so badly that I'm willing to do anything but I just cannot loose you" Josh said, Aaliyah just looked at him. She loved Josh but the betrayal of what he done, whether they were together or not, she ended the relationship some hours before he slept with another woman and he was also putting her through a lot of stress with the drugs. "I just feel like... this trip has made me realise a lot and I'm really happy that you've managed to reconcile your relationship with your dad and that your clean now but I'm just struggling to see myself being in a place which will allow us to be together" she said looking at him, "So what you trying to say Aaliyah? Your completely done with me?" Josh asked, he felt a lump forming in his throat. "I've been offered a position to work as a contractual worker with 300 Entertainment as a Senior Graphic Designer and Product Manager, the salary is way above expectation an.." before she could even finish Josh got up from the bed looking at her confused, "300 Entertainment? You mean the label in America?" he asked for clarification. She nodded her head, "I wanted to obviously talk to you about it first because this will mean I would sometimes be working in Atlanta when I have major projects but it would literally be a 2month duration, twice a year and we obviously have Samaria" she said, Josh decided to leave the room and go downstairs, she got out of bed and followed him but not before turning on the baby monitor and taking the camera to watch over Samaria whilst she slept.
