Time flows like sand in a glass
With each grain falling really fast
But beware, for corruption may amass
And time can slip away at last
Just as the fates spun their threads
And measured our mortal's life
So too does time bring us to our beds
And lead us to the afterlife
But if we learn from ancient lore
And embrace each moment given
Then time will be our greatest score
And life is a gift from the heavens.
