clary pov:

we appear in his magic apartment and Sebastian throws me to the ground. I roll onto my side and grab the hilt of the dagger in my shoulder. Sebastian watches with an evil smirk on his face as my face contorts in pain as I pull the dagger out however I don't give him the satisfaction of another scream

once the daggers out I don't even attempt to attack Sebastian im too weak so instead I throw it across the room. he walks up to me and grabs me by the shoulder pulling me up so that im standing and my body tenses from the pain, then he drags me down the hall to one of the rooms, throws me in then turns and locks the door

great. now im left without a weapon or a stele and bleeding out alone in this fucking room. I let out a cry of anger and punch the wall.

jace pov:

''shit'' mikey yells punching the wall. he has just pulled himself up and was now pacing with his hands in his hair

I cant believe she has actually gone again. FUCK

everyone begins to pulls themselves up and draw healing runes to fix themselves, sam and ricky run over to jazz who wraps them in a hug. Ricky begins bawling and crying for clary to come back and jazz's eyes are all watery but she holds them in to look strong in front of sam.

alec comes over to me and begins drawing an iratz on my arm and as soon as he finishes im up and standing ''we have to go after her'' I say but all of clarys od life turns to ooks at me ''its not that simple'' says blake

''what do you mean 'not that simple''' I snap ''we track her and we get her, simple as''

''jace'' izzy whispers putting her hand on my arm. jazz, blake and mikey all look at each other as if they know something we don't ''what'' I growl

mikey turns away but I don't miss the flash of raw pain that passes over his face before he does and he storms down the hall and out the institute. I can hear the door slam from here. the rest of clarys old life and I turn to clarys new life waiting for an answer

''nothing you need to know'' jazz hisses, i begin to walk forward but his time simon stops me ''please'' he says to jazz but she shakes her head and looks sadly at simon ''its not something you need to know'' she says again

Jocelyn is sobbing into lukes shirt as he hold tightly on to her ''where did mikey go'' he asks and blake replies ''he has gone to find out where they are''...
