clary pov

my mum and luke have gone away for the weekend so i have decided to stay at the institute while they are away.

i know my mums not keen on the idea but i managed to convince her by telling her it would be the safest place for me since sebastians still loose.

im have just come out the lift and am now walking towards jaces room when i hear moaning and screaming from behind his door.

i slow down and walk closer

''ahhhhg.... oh jacey poo.... faster''

oh my god... please dont let his be what i think it is

i run, open the door and i am greeted with two naked bodies

''OHMYGOD'' i scream. i feel my heart breaking in my chest and my eyes fill with tears.

''clary'' jaces eyes pop out of their socets and he pushes the girl that was ontop of him oof. she fell to the ground with a squeel.

my hand flies to mymouth to muffle my cries. i walk backwards but my back hits the door.

jace gets out of the bed wraps the duvet around himself and starts walking towards me. i turn around and run as fast as i can out the room

''clary wait its not what you think'' jace yells. i look over my shoulder and see jace running aftter me.

i know i will mever be able to outrun jace so i take out my stele and start drawing a portal ''NOO clary wait...'' but his words are cut off as i jump through the portal.

jace pov

''NOO clary wait...'' but im too late. she has already jumped through the portal

oh shit oh shit oh shit. what the fuck have i done... i just cheated on the love of my life with some slut.

ohmygod. everyones going to hate me. clary's just run away and we...i might never see her again.

clary was izzy's only best friend, and her and alec got really close. and then theres clary's mum

''jacey. whthe hell was that'' urg not now ''leave'' i shout at her and her face scrunches up

''excuse me'' she asks shocked. i put my hand to my forehead ''look im sorry... ummm...'' damn i dont even know her name

''susan'' shhe raises her eyebrow at me ''yeahhh...susan... look... umm i will text you later okay'' i say tryingto get rid of her ''fine whatever'' she said grabbing her stuff and then storming out

what am i going to tell everyone...

clary pov

i land on the concrete with an oof. i look around and it looks like iv landed outside an institute. im just guessing because theres and angelic rune above the door.

i get up and wipe my cheeks of tears then knock on the door.

a girl with long blond hair and blue eyes answers. she looks about my age. her eyes widen hen she sees me. she must know im a shadowhunter as my runes are showing on my arms

''are you ok'' she asks me

''oh y-yeah im fine its a long story, umm acctualy i was wondering if it would be possible for me to stay here for a little while'' the girls face suddenly lit up ''that would be awsome. im sure my mum wont mind. it would be great to have another girl my age here''

she moves out of the way so i can come in and she leads me down the hall to an elevator. this institute has a lot more floors than the NY one.

''ohh. my name is jasmine blackwater but everyone calls me jazz.'' jazz says.

''my name is clarissa morgenstern but i prefer clary frey'' we were now in the levator and jazz's jaw dopped open

''you meen your the famouse clarissa morgenstern. daughter of valentine and sister of johnathan''

''the one and only. and we... umm i... call him sebastian''

''damn. no offence but i would hate to be you''

''you have no idea'' i mutter

we get out the elevator and jazz leads me down the hall again. we get outside some double doors and jazz tells me to wait.

she comes out a minute later with a big smile on her face ''my mum said thats more than ok'' she squeels and i smile ''thank you so much''

''its no bother. come on ill intoduce you to everyone''

jazz takes me to what must be the main room

''everyone this is clarissa morgenstern but she prefers clary frey and she will be stying with us for a while.'' everyones jaws drop just like jasmines did when they hear my name.

i give a weak smile and a small wave. theres a little girl in a playpen that looks about 1 an is just adorable. theres a boy watching tv that looks about 9. theres a super hot boy...stop it clary you just went through a break up... who looks about 17 and theres a boy reading a book who looks about 19.
