as soon as clary is gone mikey, blake and i turn to face each other and highfive. "damn that bitch can kick butt" i lauged. "oi, that bitch is my girlfriend" mikey shoves me "no shit, i never would have guessed" i say sarcasticaly "but i bet you didnt know she was also my parabati" i snigger.

"ohhh so thats what that rune is for" mikey says

blake simply rolls his eyes and ignored our bikering. "let me guess, your staying at the institute" he asks clary's old life blankly

"oh um yes, that would be the plan" the one with long raven black hair that i believe to be isabelle says. mikey and i share a look and blake just turns around and starts walking away. he is very protective over clary

we all are but he's like that super protective older brother. mikey starts to follow blake so im left with clarys old family. "follow us" i mumble and walk off

.....time laps.........

we arive at the intitue in silence and when the we step out the elevator clary is cradeling a crying ricky and she is shouting back and forth with mum

"you have to step up and pay some decent attention to your children" she yells at jade "how dare you" mum screams

"how dare i, how dare i, i am fed up with your shit. your children never see you becuase you wont step up and take your responsibility as their mother. iv been here two years and im already more of a family figure to sam and ricky than you are. what do you expect me to say to ricky everytime she asks questions about you. and i wont even be able to heal her with a rune because she isnt old enough and she is going to have to go through imence pain to heal like a mundane because YOU CANT LOOK AFTER YOUR CHILDREN PROPERLY'' clary yells with tears in her eyes

thats when i realise something must have happened because clary has never cried since she got here.

"shh its ok, its ok" she ushers to Ricky strocking her hair

"what happened" mikey rushes out and stands beside clary. blake and i do the same

clary wipes a tear of her cheek and shifts ricky onto her other hip to show us her arm. clarys old life must see it too as they gasp aswell.

rickys whole arm is wrapped in wet cloth and undeneath that her arm is covered in horrible burns. "ohmygod. what happened" i scream.

"when i got home theere was a scream so i ran to the kitchen. jade had left a pan of oil boiling and half off the counter. ricky must have gotten out of bed, grabbed the handle and pulled it down on herself. sams in his room but i cant heal ricky with any of my runes" clary says ''im so sorry''

''no. it wasnt your fault'' mikey says.''i think you should go do some work or whatever'' blake says to mum. she raises her eyes clearly expecting us to be on her side but she sashays of to her office in a grump

clary is holding ricky close to her as she cries and mikey has his arm round clary

just then the guy with glittery hair stands forward. "i dont mean to intrude but clary, i can heal her and make is as painless as possible" he says

clary pov

i put my hand to my mouth ''yes. please magnus. shes in so much pain'' another tear falls down my cheek. this family means so much to me and i cant bear to see ricky inso much pain. she is only three

i look at blake, jazz and mikey ''hes the best warlock i know and i trust him with my life'' i reasure them.

......time laps.......

its an hour later and iv put ricky back to bed. magnus did a super job. there isnt even scaring and she barley felt it. "thank you so much again mugnus" jazz says

we are all in the liveing room. im snuggled up with mikey, jazz and blake are siting next to us andmy old life are on the other couch. izzy and simon are snuggled up, magnus and alec are snuggled up and that little bitch is on a very awkward looking jaces knee.

"so umm... whats new" i ask trying to lessen the tension. it still hurts to be around them and mikey knows that and is holding me tight

"izzy and i have been together for two years now'' simon says ''oh and alec and i have been married for a year''  magnus squeels.

''oh...wow...congrats'' is all i can say ''umm what about mum and luke''

''we havent heard alot from them since you left'' simon says

''of course''

we chat for another hour or so but things are still awqward. ''im.. um...going to go to bed.. im exhausted'' i say and leave with mikey
