"What happened Mr. Adler?" Namjoon asked frowning in confusion.

"I supposed this company to be impeccable, didn't know you have a terrible hiring team!" Mr. Adler spoke looking at Emma with loathe.

"What do you want to say?" Taehyung interrupted, his voice sounded like he was tolerating his behaviour and one wrong move and he would kill him.

"This girl right here is such a case! If she is here, I won't proceed the meeting." he replied and I clenched my fists, only I could call Emma a case, someone else deserved to be killed if they said that.

"Mind you language Mr. Adler and keep your calm, we don't tolerate any such comments about our employees!" Taehyung said holding Emma's hand and I got distracted, that grip on redhead's hand was the only thing making me restless now, I wanted it off. "Besides why would you say such things? What did she do?" he inquired.

Emma looked nervous and guilty, but that didn't matter, she was not going to suffer as long as I was alive.

"She threw hot coffee at me." Mr. Adler's tone turned an octave higher and Taehyung scoffed.

"She is not insane who would do it for fun. You must have done something." Taehyung took her stand.

She looked down as if it was her fault and I took the cue. Even if she did it for any stupid reason, I was not going to leave her alone in this problem and let this jerk desrespect her.

"My fault? She was the one bumping into me everytime, and suddenly like an insane person, she threw the hot coffee at me, I almost got burnt." he huffed.

"It's a pity you didn't!" I spoke out and he looked at me baffled.

"She is at fault, she either needs to apologize to me or leave the meeting room in order for this meeting to go on." he said being unreasonable.

"Emma, you did that?" Namjoon asked tired, she was rubbing her hands, she was having anxiety.

"It doesn't matter. I won't let her apologize, I am sure she had a reason." Taehyung told Namjoon and he looked at him.

"Taehyung stay out of it, I am talking to her. If she made a mistake, she will apologize." he told Taehyung and turned to Emma. "Tell me honestly, why did you do that?" he asked calmly.

I knew she did it for no reason, or else she would have blown this guy for lying about her.

"Are you really interested to have a meeting with someone who holds such petty grudges?" I asked Namjoon and he looked at me in denial.

"You think I am holding petty grudges?" Mr. Adler was offended.

"Look! He is too easy to offend, it would be hard to work with him. Instead of making Emma apologize to him, we should say sorry to the deal he is offering to us." I told Namjoon and Emma and I made an eye contact, she was surprised by me defending her.

"Jungkook is right, I don't like it when people hold personal grudges and take that out professionally. It shows how low they are. I don't want this headache of tolerating an immature person while I am doing business." Taehyung picked the cue and Mr. Alder was immediately offended.

"How dare you-" Emma cut him off.

"It's alright, it was my fault. I am sorry." Emma spoke to Mr. Adler and he smiled in satisfaction. I wanted to wipe it off his face. I was mad at Emma, why did she step in?

"No you are not, why would you do that?" Taehyung looked pissed.

"Taehyung, don't drag the matter, it is not a big deal. It was my fault anyway." Emma told him.
