She took a deep breath in and went in.

Walking slowly anticipation eating her up inside her stomach turning with every step she took. She stopped closing her eyes and taking a breath she turned and opened her eyes revealing you.

You were lying in a medical bed, a machine was hooked up to you the other being your heart rate monitor, your face, arms and legs was badly bruised.

You had a stitch on the side of your head covered by a bandage, you had a clip attached to your left pointing finger and tubes up your nose. Your eyes shut tight.

Her eyes began to water at the sight of you, "Oh y/n. I'm so sorry for leaving you" She cried rushing to your right side taking your hand in her owns.

Noah came in shortly afterwards, "Cate I'm sorry you have you to see her like this..." Sharing his condolences.

"I should've stayed... Noah I should've stayed I should have protected her. This is all my fault!"
The blonde cried.

"No it's not Cate, y/n told me why you'd left. You had your reasons, it was no one's fault accidents happen" Pulling her into an embrace.

Cate spent the next four weeks by your side Noah coming back every now and then sense he had to go interviews or talk to his publicist in person. Or to share small details to the media about your conditions but not to much since he wanted to respect your well being.

Cate woke up from the couch in your hospital room, she stretched and yawned walking over she sat in the chair. Staring at you observing every detail about your appearance, she reached out and took your hand once again and started speaking.

"Y/n, if you can hear me. I'm hear and I'm not leaving you again..." Running her thumb against your hand.

"I love you y/n..." She knew you couldn't respond due to your state of health. Flashing a smile and sighing she began to let go, but, stopped once you squeezed her hand.

Shocked her eyes widened sitting there dumbfounded. "Y/n?"

You began to blink slowly and squeezed her hands once more. "Oh my god! Can we get a doctor in here please she's awake!" Cate screamed.

In seconds a nurse and a doctor rushed in, they escorted the blonde out the room so they can observe you. And to do the necessary procedures of every patient who awakes from a coma.

He flashed a small light in both if you're eyes clicking it off, whispering something to the nurse. She looked up at you then wrote something down.

"Okay breath in and hold it" He order holding a stethoscope to your back. You did.

"Awesome now breath out" Once you did he asked you to repeat that same method two more times. Once he was done he allowed you to lie back down.

Once they left he went to talk to Cate, she glanced at you from the open door then back at the doctor.

"I'll come and talk to you both once test results come back in, she'll have to stay here for another three weeks as well so we can make sure she heals properly. Till she can go home on bed rest." He lectured, she nodded than he left.
