No freaken' way. What kind of hack is this?
I stared at the building that looked exactly like the one I saw in the forum, jaw dropped.I checked the picture of the school on my phone, and there was no denying the resemblance. They both looked legit the same.
"I'm guessing it's your school?" Nicky asked with a look of achievement. I scoffed.
"The exterior looks the similar," I ignored his gaze as I stared at the entrance.
"Why don't we find out then?" His grin widened even more. I followed, and we all went through.
The inside was even worse. Why and how did they look the same? As we continued to walk around, chills ran down my spine. This is getting hella creepy. But wait...
A thought popped up. Why don't I go check, admin? I mean, it's the only way to know if I'm truly a student here.
"Which way is to the administration office?" I asked Nicky since he seems to know more about this school."Follow me!" And he lead the way to the office.
A few minutes after walking and turning around, we arrived at the admin office. "Here we are!" He knocked on the door. And in a matter of seconds, a tall, well-dressed woman came out. Her blonde locks were packed a bit loosely in a bun as her light brown eyes assessed us. Her red lips pursed out, giving her a sorta pouty look. Her gaze bounced from one of us to the other. She leaned on the door rail a bit as she tapped her silver heel on the ground with her arms crossed underneath her chest.
"Good morning, Mrs Julie," Nicky greeted with a smile, but this time showing his dentures. She stared at him and didn't answer.
"Good morning, ma'am," Larry greeted this time. Her tired eyes moved to him, and a smile formed on her lips.
"Good morning, Mrs Julie-"
"I told you not to call me that. It's Mrs Julia to you." She spat. I could tell she had been working all this time from the bags under her eyes. But what she said didn't seem to affect Nicky at all. Instead, his smile widened, and he left out a soft chuckle.
"Good morning, ma'am!" Her gaze finally landed on me.
The soft smile came back. "Hello dear,"
"I'm a new student," I said.
"New student?" She mumbled to herself in thought. "Come in."
We all walked into her office, and I took a seat where she directed.
"What's your name?" She asked as she sat behind her desk, scrolling through something on her desktop."Lillian Anderson." I replied to her.
"Anderson..." I heard her mumbled as she searched for something on her system.
"Lillian from Wellington?" She asked, unsure as she pronounced Wellington. Um... what? Is this world really connected to my world? Or am I just really in Germany, and Nicky was just pranking me?
"Yes," I replied to her.
She stared at her computer for a while... quite a long while before she looked at me again. "Wave city?"
I stared at her blankly? What's a Wave city?
"I had a feeling Wave City was what you wanted to say!" Nicky added from the back.
I glanced at him, then back it the administrator. How does Wellington sound like Wave City?
"No," I shook my head. But it didn't look like any of them heard me."Your guardian name is Shelly Rodney,"
I nodded."Alright, let's see here..."
She typed in a few things and then said, "it says here you were supposed to check in yesterday. What happened?""I... um," I gulped. "I had a little accident, that's why."
"Oh dear, are you okay?" She asked, shocked, looking at me in the eye.
"Yes, everything's sorted out," I stole a glance from Larry.
I'm so grateful how he helped me despite not even knowing me. My eyes started to sting a bit, so I looked up and blinked a few times. I levelled back my head and saw Mrs Julia staring at me with concern written all over her face, so I smiled. She sighed. "Everything's ready. Come by tomorrow for your ID and uniform. I'll finalise the rest with your guardian."
I forced another smile. I'm not sure how she'll do that, but if I'm able to call my aunt, maybe she can too?
"I hope all is well. If there's any problem, don't hesitate to meet me." She gave me a reassuring smile while I just nodded.
"I was told you had a place to stay. Hope it's not far from the school,"
Um... I don't know about that. Heck, I don't even know how I'm registered in this school. Is there really some sort of connection? Or am I really just imagining things? No. I'm definitely not. This is real. "I'm sure it's not." Was all I said.
"That's all," I heard her say.
"Thank you so much, ma'am," I said politely as I bowed my head.
"Be careful on your way home." She warned as the three of us left her office.
"So this really is your school." I heard Nicky mumbled on our way out.
