two months later(From consummation)

Three days, that's how long they had gone without talking to each other for the first time. Everything was going fine until she had gone to the reunion party of her school. Vansh, her school friend, had been there, and somehow Advik got to know that the reason Vansh didn't attend their marriage was because he had feelings for Yashvi. He was angry at her for not telling him, while she didn't see a point in telling him because it was in the past and she had no feelings for Vansh. She had no reason to tell him. And then Jaanki's topic came up, which further pulled them apart.

"Yashvi, have this. This mehendi artist is free now. After eating, apply mehendi," Sandhya guided, asking the helper to serve Yashvi some pasta and lemonade.

Yashvi had just returned from the office and changed into a sleeveless kurti and pants. She smiled slightly, looking at Aashi, who had come to celebrate Karwa Chauth. It was already seven in the evening.

After eating, Yashvi sat beside Aashi, who passed her a smile, and the mehendi artist started applying mehendi on her right hand.

"Ma'am, what is the name of your husband?" Reena, the mehendi artist, asked, pulling Yashvi out of her thought process. She looked at her hands, which were both filled with henna, from her elbows to her fingers. It was extremely pretty, though heavy, and suited the first Karwa Chauth vibes.

"Bhabhi, she is asking Bhai's name," Aashi teased her slightly, nudging her shoulder.

"Advik," Yashvi softly whispered, letting his name roll off her tongue with ease as she blinked her eyes, realizing that it's her first Karwa Chauth and her husband is not even looking at her properly, let alone talking.

Adya had already noticed the tension between the couple when she had seen her sister-in-law trying to talk to her brother, who avoided her and went away immediately. Though they hadn't let the tension between them become visible to the family, Adya knew that her brother would never appreciate the interference of family members between the couple, so she didn't talk to him.

"Bhabhi, Bhai came back." Adya softly whispers, looking at her sister-in-law who was looking at the gate time to time.

"When?" Yashvi softly asked, surprised.

"Half an hour before. You didn't notice." Adya said. Yashvi sighed, trying to stand up as her legs had turned numb due to sitting for long hours.

"Careful." Advik immediately said, rushing towards her from behind as he helped her to stand up holding her tightly.

"You need something?" He asked, as he walked along with her inside the living room and made her sit on the sofa, carefully placing some cushions behind her.

"Water." She softly whispers, looking at her mehendi.

"Here." He said, helping her in drinking it while she kept looking at him throughout.

"Kab tak naaraz rahoge aap?" She asked tiredly, leaning back and exhaling a deep breath. (Till when you will be angry with me?)

"Lets talk about it in our room." He said and sat beside her, pulling out his phone.

"Advik," she softly whispered, feeling tired of being away from him.

"Yashvi, please," he hissed, standing up and walking towards the dining table.

Yashvi blinked her eyes rapidly, trying to control her tears as she too stood up, following him to the dining area.

"Yashvi, come sit," Padmakshi said, gesturing for her to sit on her chair.

"Choti Maa, I will eat later," she said, showing her hands which were cladded with henna.

"It's fine. I will feed you," Advik said, pulling her chair out. She smiled slightly, sitting on the chair.
