Rick starts the car and we take off into deep space. I've never been in his car before, so this was way more fun than anticipated. Slowly, I adjust my seat to sit in a somewhat upright position. Letting my body adjust to each transition leading up. My head gets a little lightheaded, but that was also probably because of the IV.

"Maybe...we can get ice cream...?" I ask softly, now leaning against the back of his seat. Rick glances over his shoulder and smirks at the sight of me there.

"Ice cream? I was going to take us on a nice ride around the stars. If you're up for ice cream though, then I'll definitely drive us there. I know the best place in the galaxy. We just have to watch out for giant spiders."

"Spiders? How interesting. I'm super duper down to go!" I say excitedly, clearly feeling the sluggish effects of my body being completely powered down.

"Mm don't say I didn't warn you if we encounter one."

"I'm probably going to train my body to fight again. With less of my powers, I have a feeling I won't be as agile anymore. You'll have to protect me from spiders for now." I watch out the windshield as he seems to zoom past other galaxies and random planets orbiting space.

He looks at me then back at the 'open road'. "Well yeah, I thought that was kinda obvious from the IV and being disabled bit. We should be fine though, so let's just enjoy some of the galaxy's best ice cream!" He shouts excitedly. I giggle and agree.

Not more than 20 minutes later, we seem to reach our destination as Rick starts to pull up to the planet's atmosphere. It looks like a replica of Earth except all land instead of water and land. Other than that it's rather hard to tell the difference. It's like life on Earth, but slightly more anti-spider built. There are spikes and bug traps on a lot of the buildings to prevent spiders from infesting the area.

"This looks just like Earth. I don't think I've ever been to this planet," I comment as Rick flies over a city and into the parking lot. The sign says something about Gloppydrop's ice cream, but it's kinda hard to read the whole sign. After all, I don't speak every language in the universe. Especially since I've never been here before.

Rick lands and comments, "Yeah it's pretty hard to find unless you know where you're going. You kind of just wandered around right? It would've been hard to get here unintentionally."

"Is it safe to go outside with all the spiders?" I glance around seeing that the sun will set soon.

"We can always eat in the car if it gets too dark," Rick says as he notices the sun going down too. "But you have me, you shouldn't be so concerned."

I smile hearing his words and nod, "Okay as long as you're here with me I guess it should be alright. Could I get some help out? I'm having trouble trying to climb over everything." I'm trying to climb over the back seats to get to the door in the front, but it's really hard since my legs are weak.

Rick grunts before pulling the front seat forward so I can get out. He then waits for me to crawl out before putting the seat back.

"You've had ice cream before, right?" He asks as he locks the car and we start walking towards the door.

I think for a second, "I think I've had gelato. But not ice cream ice cream." I walk closer to Rick's side, feeling happy just to spend time with him.

"Geez, alright well at least your first experience with real ice cream will be from here. Like I've been saying, it's the best." Rick holds the door open for me as we walk into the store.

I hadn't noticed how much I enjoyed being with Rick and talking about random nonsense. Especially when he held the door open for me. My stomach turned with butterflies as I watched him glance down at me as I walked past. "I'll try whatever you get then. Since you clearly seem to be the expert."
