Janet and I sat on the couch as her security team did a sweep of the hotel room. She was still shook up from last night and was very jumpy. "Jan." She jumped. "It's just me, baby."

"Oh, sorry." She chuckled.

"It's okay." I pulled her into me. "I got you." She laid in my shoulder.

"Alright, Jan. We figured out how she got in." Joey came up to us and held a tiny pole with a string on it.

"What the hell is that?" She asked.

"It's something that helps you break into a hotel room. They stick it under the door and move it around until they get it around the door handle. They pull this part and it opens the door."

"But how did she get into the hotel? There's security everywhere."

"She snuck in through the employee entrance and took the back stairs. We've put more guards on every entrance."

"I can't stay here. We have to go somewhere else."

"I wouldn't." said Joey.

"Why."

"We checked the cameras and it caught a car sitting in the back for hours. The car showed up before the person broke in and they stayed for hours after they left. The person may be waiting for you to leave."

"But I can't..."

"But there's good news."

"Oh really?"

"Yes. They dusted for fingerprints and got one on here and the door handle. Plus there's the glove they left. They can run it through the system and they have the files you have from the background checks you did for the team." She sighed.

"I just want this to be over."

"It will be soon." Joey sat down. "Even with a partial print, we can match it up. We're almost at the end."

"Good, because I'm ready to get my life back."

"I know you are and I want apologize for not securing that area."

"It's okay, Joey. If we can figure out who this person is and get them off my back, then this situation is minor. I know you always have my best interest at heart."

"I do and I'm going to find this woman, I swear." Joey looked down.

"Joey, this isn't your fault." I said. He nodded and looked at me.

"Yes, it is." He got up and went out of the room.

"Stay here." I got up and went out into the hall. Joey was leaning against the wall. "What's up? You good?"

"No, I'm not. All of this is my fault."

"How?"

"If I had paid closer attention at the car repair place, the accident wouldn't have happen, this person wouldn't be after her, she wouldn't be hurting her. Hell, Janet probably wouldn't have almost killed herself."

"Now you know that's not your fault."

"Isn't it? I'm supposed to be the one protecting her and there's all these things that happened to her. It's got me rethinking the way I do things. The fact that they were able to get into her apartment and put in cameras alone. I really need to....I just...I..." he leaned back against the wall and held his head.

"Joey, man. It's gone work out."

"I hope so."

"Come back in we can.."
