A Lovers Kiss (Bleach/Ichigo) Chap 20

You watched the suddenly calm Nada; she was standing far from you unmoving just staring at you. And in honesty it freaked you out greatly.

“Why are you holding back, girl?”

Your heart felt like it stopped beating, how did she know?

You quickly regained your composure, “So you saw right through it?” You raised your sleeveless arm and wiped the blood from your chin as your other injuries magically disappeared “Then I guess the jig is up.”

“There is no holding back now is there?” You sighed as you held your Zanpakutō over your shoulder, “That goes for you also.”

She let out an amused chuckle, “I never expected you to see through my act as well, girl. You might not be as weak as I first thought you were. But it doesn’t change the fact that you are still no match for me.”

It was true, you were holding back. Your main reason was to figure out her fighting techniques, your second reason was to build up your adrenaline.

“Are you sure underestimating me is wise?”

“Are you implying that my accusations are incorrect?”

“Yes, quite frankly I am.” You said openly mocking her.

“Enough! This ends here!”

‘I wonder how many times she’s said that.’ You inwardly mocked.

Nada held out her tentacles as you watched them transform slowly into razor sharp swords, her horns were also razor sharp with a slight loop in them, and they resembled an Irish goats horns. Her hooves were a bit wider, and looked heavier as the floor barley supported her weight, it crumbled under Nada’s hooves. This meant something good for you though, it meant that Nada’s speed was greatly decreased but it also meant something bad; she wasn’t playing anymore.

You let out a frustrated sigh, one that you just realized you’ve been holding since this whole thing began.

She was faster than you and deadly with blunt weapons such as her non-razor sharp horns. But now she became absolutely lethal plus her now razor sharp tentacles. They didn’t squirm anymore, they were unmoving.

You knew from that point on that this was not going to end well.

Nada lowered hear head to meet your gaze, you tried to hide the fact that you were completely terrified. It’s obviously clear that she knew though, which added more to her ego.

You began to shiver with fear; honestly you probably were never this frightened in your life. You closed eyes and took a deep breath, ‘I’m already too deep into this mess, and I can rule out any possible heroic saving. I got no choice.’

As you heard her menacing laughs your fear quickly transformed into determination; you weren’t going down without a fight.

Your grip on your Zanpakutō was so tight that your nails dug into your hand drawing out the slightest of blood to trickle down and drip onto the floor.

You managed to steady your fast heartbeat as you let your adrenaline rush take over. Nada was getting restless; you could tell by her heavy breathing, it was almost disturbing.

You pondered on what you thought Nada would do to you, considering on what you knew Nada loved devouring Shinigami souls and right now she was starving but considering that she thought you were a model she could just kill you instead. These things haunted your mind as you thought in depth what Nada might be thinking.

Nada was contemplating on what to do with you; it was either eat you or kill you. Nada hated models with a burning passion but she was also starving. She considered just eating you instead but your haughty attitude irked her to no end.
