Saffie wasn't best pleased by turning 21, all the responsibilities, the moving out, she wasn't a 16 year old girl anymore. She wouldn't be able to party as much or get drunk as much. The brunette sat down at the kitchen table of her parents house and stared at it in awe.
"I don't want to leave, this place holds so many memories." Saffie spoke gently as she tried her best to hold back tears. Her mother soon comforted her.
"Darling you are a 5 minute drive away from us, you'll be okay." She rubbed the young girls back and gave her a small peck on the head, "Oh and will you text Mason? That sod has stolen your fathers aftershave and he is not happy about it."
Saffie laughed a little and smiled as she opened her phone.
saff 🤍
Mase, you need to give back dads aftershaveMason 💙
Why? It's good stuffSaff 🤍
Mums been nagging me about it all day, please?Mason 💙
Alright. I'll pick you up in 5.Saff 🤍
Okay thank you, love you ❤️Mason 💙
Love you too Saff ❤️Saffie put her phone down on the table. "Mase is here in 5 minutes." she spoke. The girl was sort of excited about living with her brother, since he had so many fit friends which were her age.
Mason walked in the house wearing his blue and black Chelsea tech fleece. Their mother, Jane, ran up to him and gave him a hug. It had been years since Mason had been home, although Mason used to pick up Saff to go on drives quite frequently.
"Hi mum." Mason said and smiled as he embraced her.
"Oh how Ive missed you!" She exclaimed as she put her hands on his shoulders. "Oh but what is this muck you are wearing?"
Jane was never a fan of 'street wear' or anything that consisted of joggers or a hoodie. Hence why the pair always dress in tracksuits now, they were starved of streetwear.
"Muuuuum" Mason groaned. "It's what I have to wear for my job." He said to her
"Oh yes that also reminds me," she spoke before whispering something in Mason's ear, the boy nodded frequently.
"Of course mum, there's one free for a physio right now at the club, if she's interested?" Mason and Jane both looked at Saffie.
"Why do you both expect me to answer when I don't have a single clue what you've just said." Saffie said, getting agitated.
Her mother approached her slowly and held onto her hand, "So when people get older, they tend to-" Jane was cut off by Saffie.
"It's fine mum, I don't need that talk. I already slept with Ben, I know how it works." The girl looked at her mother.
"What?""YOU DID WHAT?" Her mother exclaimed, her eyes about to pop out of her head and cheeks going red with anger. Mason soon approached to separate Saffie and Jane. "Saff you did what?" He asked concerned.
"I slept with Ben. You know. I know how it works and I'm allowed to sleep with people, I'm 22 now." Saffie spoke, standing up and getting more agitated. Mason was speechless.
"Like- like" He stammered. "Go on, spit it out." She said and whacked his back. "Chilwell?" The boy responded.
Saffie laughed and looked at him, "Who else?" Her face suddenly dropped as she knew he wasn't joking. "Oh, right well, we were both drunk and-" She was cut off by Mason raising his voice. "Just get in the car." He shouted and looked at Saffie walk away, with her phone in her hand.
Ben 🫣
Hey, you okay? You still up for tonight? She looked at the notification and swiped it off, she sat in the car and scrolled through tiktok as she waited for her brother. Soon enough, Mason left the house, carrying her bags and putting them in the boot of his Mercedes.
"I don't want an apology-" Mason started, trying to spark conversation. That was one thing the pair were good at was talking. They could talk for hours, days and probably weeks about absolutely nothing.
"Good because you weren't getting one." Saffie replied, the whole situation brought her mod down.
"Okayyyy." Mason said and rolled his eyes as he started to drive. "Why didn't you tell me?" The boy asked, as he looked over at his little sister.
"Well I knew you'd react like this." The girl replied. Mason stuck out his lip as if to say "Fair point", that car ride was silent until they got to the house, Mason gave her the keys and she unlocked the door. She walked inside and funnily enough, Ben was sat in the sofa playing Fifa.
"Fucking hell!" Saffie let out a scream, not knowing who it was until he turned around. "Oh my god you scared me then." The girl spoke, holding her chest.
Mason entered the house and just looked at the two of them. Ben stood up and went over to Mason, going to dab him up.
"Get the fuck out of my house." Mason spoke sternly without raising his voice too much. "What?" A confused Ben spoke."You heard me." Mason said even louder, almost shouting. "Get out, go." He shouted. Ben put his hands up "Fucking hell pal I just wanted a reason." He said before the door slammed behind him.
"Did you invite him?" Mason turned to Saffie. "Are you crazy? Do you think I'm some Cobham slag?" Saffie replied, taking her bags and going up to the spare room where she would be staying. "It's on the left!" Mason shouted from the kitchen.
"Fuck you!" Saffie shouted back as she walked across to go to the other side of the house.
