The party was booming, loud music, gallons of alcohol and plenty of sweaty, but pretty, bodies. Saffie found her way around the club, meeting up with Mason and Lauren.
"Jesus, Mase, how many people did you want?" She asked, looking around.
"Too many, clearly." Lauren piped up which earned a roll of the eyes from Mason.
"Relax. You know basically everyone." Mason said and pointed to a few people.
"Oh yeah, and I definitely know him, don't I?" She rolled her eyes and pointed to a random brunette boy behind her. He turned around slowly and it was those same brown eyes. It was Joao.
"I think you do." Mase interjected with a small, mischievous grin which was cut short by a slap on the back of his neck from Lauren. Both Lauren and Mason backed away slowly but watched from a distance.
Saffie looked at Joao and went to leave, but his hand enveloped her wrist. "Don't. Please. Let me explain." He said, looking into her eyes.
She sighed and looked at him, clearly reluctant to even give him the time of day.
"I want to apologise. What I said, the way I acted. I didn't mean it. I miss you." He said and held both of her hands, looking down into her eyes.
She blushed a little at the touch but hid it. "You're serious? I mean, you did act like a little piss boy." She said, looking up into his eyes.
"Yeah. I am. Fully." He said and placed his hands on her waist. "Please, Saff, I'll do anything to earn your trust." He said as he leaned closer, "Anything." He whispered in her ear, his hot breath brushing her skin.
She felt herself shudder at the feeling, a chill going down her spine.
"Everyone has got some sort of addiction, Saffie, and mine is you. Everything about you is addicting, you're a never ending drug." He said, pleading in his eyes, and his tone of voice.
She didn't say anything except just slam he lips onto his, her hands wrapping around his neck with his grip on her waist tightening as they kissed deeply.
