Saffie and Lauren made their way to a coffee shop. They walked in and the small bells chimed. There was people doing things on laptops, a few couples. Saffie looked at one couple longingly. They were holding hands and laughing and joking about something or other.
"Hey, look who it is!" A hand reached for Saffie's shoulder. She jumped and looked around.
"Oh my god you scared me, never do that again." Saffie said, placing her hand on her chest. It was Mason, and soon Joao walked over.
"Who's this?" Lauren asked Saffie.
"Oh right so, Joao this is Lauren, Lauren this is Joao." Saffie introduced them to eachother and they shared a small hug. Both Lauren and Mason knew about the antics, which was what made it awkward. The pair started giggling. "Will you cut that out? What is there to giggle at?" Saffie asked the two 'lovebirds'.
"Nothing." Lauren said. "You an-" Mason said before Lauren slapped a hand over his mouth. The girl rolled her eyes.
"Okay well me and Loz are off now, I'll see you later Mason." Saffie said as she reached for Lauren's hand to pull her away before she looked out of the window. Paparazzi cameras were everywhere they looked. "Yeah we are not going out there yet." Saffie said as she sat down on one of the booths, Lauren sat next to her and the two boys sat down shortly after.
"If anyone asks, this is just four friends hanging out." Saffie said, panicking slightly. "Saff, nobody's going to ask, we're fine." Lauren said, holding her hand.
The four talked for what felt like hours. The sky was starting to get dark and they realised they should go. "Do you want my jacket? You could use the hood to cover your eyes from the flashing if you want." Joao said to Saffie. "Yes please, thank you." She took the tech fleece and put the hood up.
It smelled just like him.
She smiled and almost forgot about the blinding lights as the pair walked out, Lauren wore Mason's hoodie as they avoided the press.
Joao looked at Mason. "She definitely doesn't like me." He spoke.
"Why wouldn't she?" Mason asked. "You're a pretty handsome lad, got the humour and the tall. What's there not to like?" He said.
"Honestly" Joao started, "There's nothing not to like, I'm the full package."
"Don't get ahead of yourself buddy." The pair laughed until Joao's phone rang. "Is that me or you?" Mason asked.
"Me I think." The Portuguese boy pulled his phone out and looked who it was. "It's Graham." He looked at Mason.
"Answer it then you tool." Mason nudged the boy. "Alright."

"Hey Gaffer, what's up?" "Where are you?" "I'm at home, why?" "Don't lie to me Joao, where are you?" "In London?" "You're out with Mason and your two girlfriends. Is he still there?" "Yes." "Pass it over then." "Hi gaffer." "Mason, what do you think you're doing? You're being a terrible influence on the new signing. Not only that but you're bringing a bad name to the club." "Gaffer it's really not that big of a deal." "It is Mason. The both of you are banned. You're to train with the u21's and to eat with them until further notice. Understand?" "Erm, yes yes Gaffer."
Graham hung up the call and Mason passed the phone back to Joao.
"What did he say?" Joao said before putting his phone back in his pocket.
"We're banned." Mason said with a sigh.
"What? Like we can't play?" Joao asked. This wasn't a regular occurrence, not for any player. Especially since it's his first time in England he was shaken by this.
"We can train, just we have to do it with the under 21's." Mason replied.
"Oh shit. That's not good, I'm only here on loan. This was such a waste of time. It's all Saffie's fault." Joao ranted.
"I wouldn't blame it on Saff. You were the one that slept with her." Mason argued.
"Yeah well she started it." Joao continued to argue just like a 5 year old. The bickering lasted a while until they realised majority of the cameras had left so they both headed back to the house.
As they arrived the two girls had Sky Sports on the Tv in the living room. It was a 'top story' that they had all hung out.
"Those reporters seriously need to get a life. There's more exciting things to be focusing on. Like actual sports?" Mason said annoyed as he sat down next to Lauren. Joao slumped down next to Saffie, but further away.
The four sat in silence as they watched the tv. "I can't watch this anymore." Joao said before grabbing the remote and turning it over to Arsenal vs Crystal Palace. Normal life resumed, Saffie and Joao weren't speaking and Lauren cuddled up to Mason.
"I'm sorry Joao-" Saffie started.
"Save it. Wouldn't want to waste your oxygen." Joao said and watched the match on the Tv.
"Seriously? Grow up. You're acting like a 6 year old right now. I don't have time for your shit, my egos too big." Saffie said as she got up and walked out of the house, slamming the door.
Mason went to go and speak but Lauren soon covered it, "Don't." The girl said. "You okay?" She asked the boy, rubbing his arm.
"Okay now I really feel like a 6 year old." Joao said as he rolled his eyes and went on his phone.
