It was a normal Saturday morning when I woke up to a text from a number that I didn't quite recognise. It read, [The sun is up]

Finding the message rather strange, I texted back with, [Wow, id have never known. Who is this?]

As I waited for the reply, I got out of bed and opened my blue curtains, letting the immense brightness of the sun fill my room.

*Beep*

[The 1 who u can't get enough of] the message read.

At first, I thought of Harrison. But I knew him well enough to be sure it wasn't him.

[Umm, I think you've got the wrong number.]

[Wrong or right, who carez?]

[I do. Don't speak to people I don't know.]

[I'm sure u know me better than myself]

[Tell me who you are.] It was starting to get quite annoying now.

[Some1 told me ur gd at guessing. so guess]

[Cba.]

[We lived in the same bedroom]

Betzy. [Betzy.]

[Amz.]

[How?]

[How what?]

[My number. How did you get it?]

[Dw. Is it okay if I call you instead. I h8 txtin]

Why did he want to call me? I thought we would never even see eachother again?

Before I could even compose a reply, my ringtone went off. "What?"

"Hi. I was expecting a 'Hello, young and handsome gentleman. It is a privilege to be listening to your voice at such early hours of the morning," but no, you're too good for that." He went on. Not that I was even listening.

"I need to brush my teeth" I told him lazily as my mouth felt as dry as a cheese pastry with no cheese.

"Yeah, you need to, but you won't," I could hear him trying to hold back his laugh.

"That's it. Bye!"

"No! wai-" I cut him off before he can finish. What does he think I am? A tramp?

I could do with a bit of shopping, I thought to myself after having a few pancakes with ketchup for breakfast. Everyone finds pancakes with ketchup disgusting for some reason.

Everyone was busy today. Even Ninj. So the only person I could go shopping with, was my mom. I like going shopping with my mom. But you know, I can't play 'Spot the Fitty' with her.

-----

The first shop we walked into was HabiDabi, a shop for kids. Why on earth would you even consider coming in here?

"Look for a car." My mom randomly spoke whilst I was fiddling around with a rubber snake. Anyway, by car, I think she meant a toy car.

"Why? For who?" I ask nonchalantly.

"Your dad,"

"Huh?"

"I mean, your dad wants to gift it to Tommy." Tommy, my baby nephew.

-------

Pancakes were surely not enough to keep me going for any longer. By the time it was 2pm, I was starving!

Mom passed me some change to go feed my hunger in McDonalds while she spends her time looking for 'the perfect hoover' in TJ Hughes.

After waiting in the elongated queue for about 20 minutes, I eventually got to the counter, ready to place my order. Looking down at my purse I asked for a Fillet fish meal.

"That'd be £4.09 please." I heard the counter staff demand. The voice though, sounded familiar...

Looking up, I saw Ninj.
