Tell me a lie

What the actual fuck, Ninj?! I exclaim in disbelief as she comes and sits on the chair on the other side of the table.

Ninj had told me to wait around at Hilton Café until she finishes her work hours, so that we can discuss this whole working-in-McDonalds thing.

She started to sip on her Chinny Chocolate Choffee. I hated the noise she made whilst doing it.

"What?" She asks lamely.

"You know what!"

"Oh, McDonalds. Well, what else could I do? I needed a job so I got one. Simple.

"But your dad's loaded! What's the need for you to get a freaking job now?!"

"Exactly. Just because my dad's rich everyone thinks I don't have a care in the world. I want to show them that I can make a living for myself." That was true. Everyone at school loved Ninj but thought of her as a spoilt little princess at the same time.

"Okay...But isn't it a bit too early for all this? You've still got your A-levels to complete?"

"They'll be done."

"Mmkay. So, since when have you been doing this?"

"Oh, not long. Just about 6 weeks.

"NOT LONG? 6 weeks and you're telling me its 'not long'? And why the hell am I finding this out now?"

"Well, it was supposed to be a secret really."

"But that just goes against the point of you trying to prove to people that you can make a living for yourself?"

"Everyone will eventually find out obviously. I just don't want anyone to know about this now. So you girl, better hush yo mouth." She said whilst narrowing her eyes and smirking. God, she looks like a complete different person when she smirks.

"I will make sure to spill the beans," I say with a cheeky smile as I start getting ready to leave. "Come on, get up. We've got places to go."

Ninj was still in her seat. Gosh, talk about laziness. Obviously, like any other time at this café, I had to drag her out of the seat.

----------

It was a long walk from the café to where we were planning to go. Luckily, the sun was out and on its best behaviour which made the walking less painful. We had to walk through the town centre which was was packed with people. Well, it's a Saturday, so that's no shock.

"Where exactly are we going?" Ninj inquired, whilst checking herself out in a car window.

"Some where."

"Some where where?"

I giggled.

Suddenly, the car window went down and exposed a really funky looking man with tattoos and piercings all over his face and a pink mohawk. Ew.

Ninj flinched and then forced a smile on her face. "S-sorry, I was jus-"

"It's alright babe, you're looking like a fine arse bitch anyway. You wanna lift?" he stared at her with hungry eyes whilst offering his service.

"Umm, n-no thanks..m-my house..house is just there," she stuttered as she pointed in any direction her finger went in.

"Why you so scared babe? I'm a real gentleman," he winked with his pierced eye. He was so ugly.

As there were a lot of people around I figured it would be safe to just walk away, so I grabbed Ninj by the hand and started to half-walk half-run in the opposite direction of the car.

"You're an idiot," I tell her as we close in on a narrow lane around Porton Estate.

"Thanks, but I know already. Why couldn't you just tell me we're going to Jay's?"

"Okay, we're going to Jay's."
