"𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐲?" 𝐈 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐚𝐭 the board game laid out on the ground. "Are you kidding? What happened to the Game of Life?" "That was the original plan, until somebody left it in the cell block!" Letty looks directly at Zak. "Then why didn't you pick it up?" he questions. "Because you were meant to!" she points out. "All right, let's calm down!" Kiki says. "Did anyone ask Beth if she wanted to join?" Sam asks. "I did. She just wanted some time alone right now, plus someone had to keep an eye on Judith and Paige." her sister remarks. "What about your girlfriend?" Zak teases. Kiki rolls her eyes, "Time of the month." "Ew!" the two male humans here grimace. "So immature." Letty grunts. "Carl you are a fake married man!" "I am still also a teenager." he points out. I sigh, "Let's just start... who wants what piece?" "I want the Scottie Dog!" Zak announces. "I'll have the Battleship!" Sam raises her hand. "The boot!" Kiki reaches fro the piece. "I'm having the iron." Letty smiles. "Calling the wheelbarrow." Alex smiles. "Top hat!" Carl and I raise our arms.

"Um..." he trails. "Excuse me, I'm the most fanciest out of the both of us." I lay my hand on my chest. "'Fanciest'? No." he shakes his head. "The top hat looks like my hat." "Oh wait... it's a hat for dickheads... you should have it, goofball." I smirk. "No, I insist you have it if that's the meaning." he motions to the piece. "Oh, for Christ's sake!" Zak bellows. "Carl, you take it and Jade you have the race car!" "What? I'm not a dickhead." Carl frowns. "Wanna bet?" I sass. "Don't test me, little man, just take it so I can beat all of your asses." Zak dares. "You? No, if someone's gonna win, it'll be me." Letty infers. "Well, we'll never know until we play." Kiki ushers on for the game to start. "Who wants to be kind enough to be the banker?" Carl and I immediately poke the tip of our own noses with our index fingers. We were soon followed by Letty, Kiki, Zak and Sam... leaving Alex. "Oh, man." she sighs. "Fine. 1500 each, right?" We all nod as she hands us all the money that we needed. I couldn't lie, I was rusty with this game, I hadn't played it since I was about eight, and even then I was horrible. God, I wish this was Game of Life.

The seven of us roll the dice, seeing who would be going first with the highest number, that turned out to be Sam getting a 10, me getting the lowest with a 3. "This game already sucks a hard fat dick." I murmur. "What?!" Carl gasps. "What?" Zak questions having not heard me, in fact Carl was the only one that heard me. "Uh... nothing." he blushes. He and I giggle at each other, both of us finding each other as funny as the other. "Should we try to protect each other?" I whisper to him. "Jade... this is Monopoly... anything could happen." he chuckles. "When we start buying property, we'll have to give each other money." "Yeah, but I need my co-owner." I grin. He blows a small raspberry, "It's every man for himself in this game." "Fine! Be like that, but you're gonna lose." I snarl. "Uh-uh, I will do anything but lose." he was so confident that he was going to win.
