Nathalie's POV:

As I entered the house my niece led me to my brother I could see him with his wife and I was surprised that it was no other than his high school lover. I greeted them and Daniel offered me to take a sit I gladly took the opportunity and placed my bag and sat down... His daughter went to her room and also brought her croissants with her.

I saw that my brother was happy after my parent's death... I was happy that he was in good hands with his loving family. To be honest I was quite jealous seeing them so happy I wish I could experience it one day with the love of my life... Nathalie: oh? Uhm... I've been doing fine lately getting a good raise...I can buy my own house or car but I'm happy with what I have right now.

Daniel: Wow... You are doing great than I thought you would lil sis! Mom and Dad would have been so proud.

Nathalie: do you think? I mean I was the reason for their death... I hated myself during the accident...

Daniel: It is not your fault nor you should not be ashamed of yourself about the accident. You know that our parents adore us... As a parent and a husband, I am bound to protect my princess and my queen. he kisses his wife's hand

Nathalie: I wish I could say the same... If I wasn't there being irresponsible they would still be alive by now! I blame myself for their death... I can never forgive myself...

Daniel: Hey, hey Nath... He reaches a hand towards her As I said it's not your fault, you know that our parents love us unconditionally whether alive or not...

Nathalie: Nathalie starts to tear up  As I said, I cannot forgive myself but I am very lucky that I have a big brother like you... You're the only person I have left now...

Daniel: Likewise lil sis.... However, I don't think I'm the only person you have right now... Remember that boss of yours? He smirks remembering the time his sister kept on talking about him 

Nathalie:  I...o- oh h-him? Oh please I don't love him! Your thinking is out of this world Dan! She laughed amused and blushed thinking about her boss...

All Daniel could do was just laugh with her since she was the same as ever as he last saw her... He missed his conversations with his baby sister.

His wife was watching them smiling to herself, how could I've been so lucky?

Daniel saw that his wife stood up and asked him and Nathalie if they would like a cup of coffee they of course said yes since they both knew that they were coffee addicts like their mother.

Nathalie: oh,  I forgot to mention I brought croissants with me I gave your daughter one also, would you like to take one?

Daniels's eyes lit up and said "Are you kidding??  you know I love those!!

Nathalie laughed seeing her brother so happy just hearing the word croissant
