Gabriel was speechless. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He had a son he had never known about, and Nathalie had kept this secret from him for all these years.

Alex explained that Nathalie had gotten pregnant shortly before they got married, but she had decided to give the baby up for adoption. She had never told Gabriel about the baby, thinking that it would only cause him pain and heartache.

Gabriel's mind was racing. He felt a mix of emotions - shock, anger, sadness, and confusion. He didn't know what to do or how to react.

Alex could see the turmoil on Gabriel's face, and he reached out to him. "I know this is a lot to take in," he said. "But I wanted to meet you, to get to know you. I've always wondered about my biological parents, and when I found out who you were, I knew I had to reach out."

Gabriel looked at Alex, and he saw the resemblance between them. He saw himself in Alex's eyes, his smile, and his mannerisms. He felt a sense of pride and joy, knowing that he had a son who was so much like him.

Nathalie listened quietly, tears streaming down her face. She knew that she had hurt Gabriel deeply, and she didn't know how to make it right.

"I'm sorry," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I should have told you. I should have been honest with you from the beginning."

Gabriel looked up at Nathalie, his eyes filled with pain. "How could you keep something like this from me?" he asked. "How could you not tell me that I had a son?"

Nathalie didn't have an answer. She knew that she had made a mistake, and she didn't know how to fix it.

Gabriel stood up from the bed and walked to the window. He looked out at the city, his mind racing with thoughts and emotions.

Nathalie walked up behind him and put her hand on his shoulder. "I love you," she said. "No matter what happens, I love you."

Gabriel turned around and looked at Nathalie. He saw the pain and regret in her eyes, and he felt a sense of compassion and forgiveness.

"I love you too," he said, taking her hand. "But we have a lot to talk
