Chapter 1 - Love Letter

with a boy I treat as someone special,
but he only sees me as 'one of them'.

A boy I call by his nickname,
but he doesn't even know my name.

A boy who's birthday I never fail to celebrate,
but he never greeted me once on mine.

I know his likes, his dislikes, his habits, his voice, and I even memorized the sound of his laugh.

I know so much about his life,
but he doesn't know I exist.

I see him everyday,
and that made me grow a certain feeling of a bond and closeness with him.

Why did I let myself fall for you, Yang Jungwon?

I even made you my home,
a home I can never get in to,
despite knowing every corner of it.

I know that whatever I feel towards you,
will forever be one sided.

But I will always be here,
admiring you from afar,
and rooting for your happiness and success.

I did not expect,
that loving you could hurt this bad.

So please forgive me,
for dreaming about calling you mine.

Even if it's just in my head,
will you let me think that you love me too?

Sunoo looks at his phone.

S: It's 1 am already?...

He thinks to himself while his eyes are slowly getting heavier. He's really tired, because he was up late writing a poem.

S: This must be my favourite poem so far...

He put his pencil case in his bag.

He doesn't write often, it's just a side hobby for when he's bored, or needs some time for himself.

Sunoo crawls into bed, but he doesn't fall asleep just yet, even though he's really tired. He lies on his bed while staring at his roof, and thinking about a special someone.

S: It hurts, being in love really hurts...

That is the last thing he thinks before he falls into deep sleep, having beautiful dreams he knows will never come true.

"BEEP, BEEP, BEEP".  Sunoo wakes up from his annoying alarm. He let it beep 4 more times before smashing his finger on the stop button.

He looks at the time, and while his vision was still blurry, he believed it said '7:35' instead of '7:55'.

S: Wait, thats my first alarm? I thought it already rang today?
