It was another beautiful day in the valley, and everyone was getting ready for the day.
Earlier, Wukong spent as much time with his family as possible.
With Wen they shared their interests and abilities in magic, played trivia with Ru, played hide and seek with Ganguan by using only their senses, got introduced to all of Fengs animal friends, Duccel shared with Wukong all of his hobbies and interests relating to emotions, had a tea party with Sakura in her room and Wukong enjoyed walking in the garden with his wife while talking and sharing fond memories of the past together.
Although, the only person that Wukong hasn't spent time with all-day would-be Yang.
After last night's dinner, Yang locked himself in his room, not talking to anybody.
Camellia then had to remind him that Yang still needed some space and to let "him" come to "us" when he's ready.
Hours later, when it was nearly dark outside, the kids were excited because they would be spending the day helping their mom sell some flowers, while having fun at the festival afterwards.
Wukong smiled and laughed as he watched his kids run around trying to gather whatever items they needed, while also preventing himself from being mowed down in the process.
However, as Wukong was making his way to the stairs, he came face to face with Yang.
The both of them were silent, trying to avoid eye contact as they just stood there, but it was just making things even more awkward.
Eventually, Yang reacted first as he sighed sadly, making his way downstairs.
Wukong then became frustrated at himself, why didn't he say something? anything?
He grabbed his head in frustration as he went down the stairs himself, wearing his usual yellow and black jacket with the hoodie, and a couple of sunglasses. This was to prevent anyone, especially demons from recognizing him.
