Fourteen

Shadow's POV

Faker woke up an hour later. He was hooked up to an IV, laying on a bed in Tail's lab. He had a confused look on his face, but grew slightly disappointed web he saw Sally standing next to me.

"Sonic!" she said worriedly. "You're awake!"

I leaned back a little with my arms crossed when I heard sonic speak. "What happened?" he put a Han on his head. "My head..."

Tails approached with a clip board in his hands. "I'm not exactly sure, but I think it had to do with compound I injected in you. You're blood pressure was crazy high, and you're temperature was off the charts."

"What does that mean?" Sonic asked. "Am I going to be okay?"

Tails tilted his head to the side as he read his notes. "I'm not sure."

"What do you mean you're not sure?" Sonic began to sound angry.

"I mean, I don't know if you're going to be alright. The bet I can do right now is wait for you blood test results to be finished so I can study the issue."

Sonic crossed his arms in annoyance. "Well your best isn't enough."

"Sonic!" Sally exclaimed.

"What? not only am I stuck being bedridden, but you're here too."

Tears began to form in Sally's eyes. "Fine. If that's how you feel." She began to cry as she stormed upstairs.

"What the heck, Faker?! You're not the only one going through things right now!" I yelled at Sonic.

Sonic laughed. "Yeah, and you are just a thief trying to steal my girlfriend!"

"She isn't your girlfriend! She isn't anyone's, Bunin sure if she had to choose between the two onus right now, it'd be me, because I'm not acting like selfish, lowlife jerk at the moment."

"Screw off." Sonic crossed his arms and looked the other way in annoyance.

I didn't want to waste my time with little miss sour priss right now, so I decide to leave. I walked up stairs, and left the scene, meeting up with Sally in the living room. She was crying with her face in her hands.

I walked over to her and at next to her on the couch. After a couple seconds of letting her weep, I put a hand in her shoulder, making her look up at me.

"Oh, it's you..." She said disappointedly.

"No need to so down about it." I let out a very small grin.

"No, it's not that I don't like you or anything. Out of anything, in great full to have met you. You led me to Sonic."

"Yeah, but he's acting like a big jerk at the moment."

"Yeah, but he wasn't always like that."

"I know," I agreed. "He getting aggravated because he knows that I like this girl that he likes, and he knows how he treats her and how I'm most likely gonna win her over. "

"He likes someone?" he asked, even more disappointed than before and let more tears fall from her face.

"Yes, the girl that was kidnapped. She was the one that would hold us all together, and then one day she just disappeared." I looked at her as she cried.

"I knew I shouldn't have stayed."

"What are you talking about?You're not the problem, it's faker over there-"

I was cut off from her words.

"No, not now. Years ago, right when me and sonic split. I shouldn't have stayed in that city. I should've left with him. I should've stayed by his side, and I should've been with him ever since. It would've been a lot easier to raise them."

I grew bewildered. "Raise who, may I ask."

"Our children."

Hey guys, I know it's a short chapter, but I'm also working on a couple other books that haven't been published, and I really want to get those finished. One of them is almost done. I already post the prologue for it, so if you want to go check out my page, it's call Jeff the Killer. I know, creative title. If you're a fan of creepypastas, or just want to read because why not, like I said, the prologue is posted, which is just the JTK story. I will not be posting any more of that story until its completely. In weighting this one e cause I deleted my other Jeff the Killer book, and I felt bad for my readers who were just cut off there.

My others I'm not relieving because in very early in the process, though I am really excited about one. But I am not saying anything else. My lips are sealed until further notice.
