The two fiery beasts prowled around him like vultures. Their eyes were about as bright as the sun. Flames flickered, turning the beasts into huge dog-like creatures. Their heat was enough to melt and they seemed to be getting closer. Dust shielded his face to protect from the harsh flames. Did he create these? With his fire magic? They came closer and closer, until suddenly, they were gone. Gone, as if the wind has blown a strong enough gust of air to burn them out. In their place, a strange symbol was left on the ground.
Dust slowly opened his eye and stretched. His hands were burnt again, hopefully Dream wouldn't notice. Dust looked over at Red and smiled. It's September 22nd. It's Red's birthday. Dust stepped off the bed and crept into Ink's room. "Ink. Wake up." Dust started shaking Ink awake. "Mmmmmwwwwhhhaaaatttt?" Ink groaned. "It's Red's birthday." Dust told Ink, trying to hide his excitement. Ink leaped up. "Red's birthday! Eeeeeeeeee! I'll go get everyone. You start putting up decorations!" Ink flew out of the room. Dust ran out and slid down the stairs. Dust made eye contact with that new monster. What was his name? Malware? Malware quickly broke eye contact and looked back at his phone. Dust opened the stair closet and pulled out of box of party supplies. He found some pink paper and started cutting soul shapes out of it. There was some string in there too that he used to string the paper souls together. Dust stood up on his tippy toes to reach as high as he could to hang them up. Ink appeared and leaned over the railing, helping to hold them in place while Dust taped them. After taping the paper, Ink leaped down into the living room. Ink and Malware awkwardly stared at each other. Dust looked between the two. Oooooohhhhhhh. They were roommates... "Wh0 th3 fUck tApEd thIs bUllsh1t?" Error grumbled. Dust looked up. Error was re-doing Dust's excellent (sub-pare) tape job. Soon Dream and Nightmare came downstairs. Everyone was now putting up decorations. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Dust headed over and opened it. And standing there was (ew) Lust. "Um, hello?" Lust said nervously. Ink pranced over. "Oh hello Lust! You must've gotten my text!" Lust nodded. "Come inside, come inside." Ink twirled to the center of the living room. Lust walked inside. "What kinds of cake does Red like? Has to be warm, right?" Lust asked. Ink nodded, "and he'll eat any flavor, so go crazy." Ink told him. Lust nodded, then looked over at Malware, eyes widening. "Malware!" Lust ran over to him. "Me and Love been worried about you! Where have you been?" Lust asked. "I'll tell you later." Malware shrugged, then gently kissed Lust, on the mouth. Ink looked like a fish gasping for air. Eyes wide and mouth agape. Holy shit. Dramaaaaaaa! Lust pranced into the kitchen. "Outer and Blueberry will come help you when they get here." Ink called over to him. Ink went over to the closet and pulled out a box. Dust ran over and pulled a smaller glitter filled box from the box. "Glitter?" Dream questioned. "Red's like part bird. Birds love shiny things." Dust told him. "And it's Rare's birthday too. Rare also likes shiny things." Ink agreed. Dust started running around the living room, throwing glitter everywhere. Somehow, Nightmare was able to dodge all of it. "Oh and balloons!" Ink pulled out a handful of unblown balloons. "I can blow them, if that's alright." Malware offered. "Of course!" Ink grinned. "You were always good at that~" Ink handed Malware the box of balloons. Malware rolled his eyes and took the box. Suddenly they heard Red leave his room. "Shit! Dream, go distract him!" Dust said hurriedly. Dream nodded and ran upstairs.
Red could hear commotion from downstairs, but he didn't have the energy to go check on it. He sighed. He wished Fatal killed him instead of Sci. Sci was innocent. Red was who stupidly trusted Fatal. Red's the reason Sci is dead. Tears filled Red's eyes. He shouldn't of been so stupid. So trusting. Why was he so stupid? Damnit...DAMNIT! WHY AM I SO STUPID! WHY DID I TRUST HIM!? I SHOULD'VE JUST LISTENED! Everyone told me not to trust him, and I stupidly ignored them. I thought I could help him. I thought he changed. Red pushed himself up and wiped his tears. He should probably take his meds, which means talking to Dream, which means getting out of bed. Red exited his room, and was almost immediately greeted by Dream. "Good morning Red!" Dream smiled warmly. "Oh. Morin' Dream." Red greeted in return. "I need my meds." Red got straight to the point. "Oh okay okay, come with me." Dream started walking to his room, and Red quietly followed. Dream opened his safe and pulled out a small orange bottle filled with the good stuff. The stuff Red wanted to get his hands on so he could off himself. Dream handed Red two pills and Red quickly downed them. "Water." Dream handed Red a small cup of water and Red drank it. "Thanks." Red started the head out of Dream's room, but Dream stopped him. "I've heard you've been having some big feelings lately, do you want to talk about it?" Dream asked kindly. "Um, not really heh." Red sat down on Dream's bed. "It's okay if you're not ready yet. Just know that I'm here for you."
