Blue leaned against a tree and glared daggers at Horror. "It's pretty suspicious that you wanted to meet me out here alone. If you try anything, I won't hesitate to fight back." Blue warned. Horror stood a few feet in front of him, not daring to take even a step closer. "I'm not like that. I'm not like Fatal." Horror said calmly. "That's hard to believe considering what Dust admitted." Blue growled. "He was lying, Blueberry! Nothing of what he said is true, I swear on my life. You have to understand how difficult this is for me." Horror looked at him pleadingly. "I don't know if I can believe you Horror. I feel betrayed. I'm 13 years younger than you, and I feel like you wanted to be with me because I'm young. And maybe you thought I'm naive and you could take advantage of me. I'm not accusing you of anything, this is just what I think." Blue put his hand in the pocket of his jeans, his fingers tightening around the bottle of pepper spray Papyrus had given him. "No that's not true! I love you Blue! I really love you. And I don't want Dust's lies to ruin what we have. I know I can't make you believe me, but I am pleading. I'll do whatever it takes to prove I'm innocent. We all know Dust is a psychopath. Why are we believing his lies?" Horror took a step forward. Blue tightened his grip on the pepper spray. "He sounded like he was telling the truth. Horror, I want to believe you but I don't think I can." Blue looked away. He didn't want to look at Horror. "Please, please believe me. I feel awful that I'm even being accused of this. I don't know why Dust wanted to hurt me like this. Maybe it's because we had a messy break up. I don't know. But he's lying. Blue, please believe me. I'm not a horrible person. I would never do that to someone. I'm not a groomer." Horror pleaded. "Horror...I...I think that for right now, until the truth comes out, we should...take a break." He still couldn't look Horror in the eye. "Blue no! Please don't do this! I love you! I love you! I love you so much! Please don't leave me!" Horror took a few steps forward. "Please don't leave me. I need you. I need you to help me through this. I...I've been feeling suicidal ever since Dust accused me of such horrendous things...please Blue...I can't do this without you." Finally Blue looked up at Horror, looking him in the eye. He looked genuine. "...okay...I love you too Horror. I won't leave you to do this on your own." Blue released his grip on the pepper spray. "Thank you Blueberry." Horror hugged Blue tightly, then kissed him passionately.

"It's been a while since we went camping." Ink leaned back against a tree. "Yeah. I think it's been about a year." Red threw another stick in the fire. "Nah it's definitely been over a year." Dust was making a snowman. Red looked over at Geno. "Is Reaper still coming?" Red asked. "Uh, yeah, I think so. He said he needed to prepare or something." Geno shrugged. "I kinda feel bad that we just shoved our kids on Dream like that." Ink chuckled. "He's lucky you haven't had your second yet." Geno teased. Ink scoffed and playfully rolled his eyes. After a few minutes, Red heard footsteps behind him. He turned around and saw Reaper approaching. "Took you long enough." Geno grumbled. Reaper ignored him and walked up to Red. "Hey, can we talk for a min? In private?" Reaper asked. What's this about? "Uh sure." Red stood up. Reaper led him a few feet away. He could still see that campfire, but he couldn't hear any talking. "What's up?" Red asked, leaning against a tree. "I wanted to talk to you about Sci." Reaper said. Red's wings instinctively hardened. Why would Reaper want to talk about Sci? What could he possibly want to say. "What about him?" Red's voice became cold and hostile. "I want to put your mind at ease. I hate seeing you sad and depressed, you're one of my best friends." Reaper started. Red knew that sentence pretty well at this point. He didn't have enough fingers to count how many times that had been said to him. "First thing I want to say is that his death wasn't painful. He was only in pain for half a second before his nerves got completely fried and stopped sending pain signals to his brain." ... "Don't look at me like that, I'm telling the truth. Anyways, second thing is, that before I reaped him, I had a small conversation with him. He wanted me to tell you something, but I wasn't sure when to tell you since I didn't want to make you even more upset that you already were. So I'm going to tell you now. He said he felt at peace when he died. He felt like he had already done what he was meant to do. He wants you to know that you shouldn't be hung up over his death. He knows what a bright and kind person you are, so don't let his death kill your spirit. And there's something I'd like to add." Reaper gently put his hand on Red's shoulder. "And I know this might sound cliche, but it's true. Some people that come into our lives aren't meant to stay. I believe that you and Sci were meant to become friends, but I don't think it was meant to last. And now I'm not saying that his death should've happened, but there are some things we just can't control. Some things do happen for a reason. You met Sci for a reason. I'm not sure the reason, but I think you know, even if you don't know it right now. If there's an afterlife, I can guarantee Sci is living is best death and is happy. He wouldn't want to see you like this. I know death is hard, and your grief will probably never go away. But it will fade. I promise. It will get better." Reaper hugged Red tightly. Red was silent.
