you and me to the end of time

Chapter 13: Moving day

Hobi POV

It's been two weeks since she texted me out of the blue and later that day when I called her she told me everything that happened. i couldn't believe her own mother would behave like that towards her. i spoke with the boys and together we came up with a plan, and quickly found an apartment to her that she could afford on her own once she got a job, and today is the day that she will arrive, even though it is late tonight, once i was off from work i drove over to her new apartment with the rest of the stuff we have gathered for her, and fix a couple of stuff before she arrives. Mr. Choi is picking her up from the airport and will drive her here, and if there are no delays she will be here in about two hours. So that is plenty of time for me to prepare the last things. I thought that she might be really tired when she arrived so I said that the others should wait to visit her till tomorrow when she has rested a bit. I just want to welcome her as she gets here and tell her all the stuff she needs to know.

putting up the last picture i think she will like i am satisfied with the apartment, and hope she approves of the things i've done here. I can be a bit of a clean freak and want things to be a specific way, but it's not my apartment so she can do whatever she wants with it afterwards, I just wanted it to look nice and tidy for when she gets here. looking at the clock for the 5th time i see that it won't be long till she gets here. making the final little touches look great, I go to the door as it rings. I look out of the peephole, and see the angel standing there alongside my driver as they talk, she doesn't have keys yet as they lay on the kitchen counter, I open for them. "Hello beautiful. Welcome home." I say to her as I embrace her in a hug as she almost runs inside as she sees me. "Thank you Hobi. in this short time I really missed Korea, and already felt at home when I got out of the airport. I can't believe you all would do this for me." she says as she looks up at me in the hug, looking really tired but genuinely happy to be here. "It was not a problem, they were all onboard once I told them the situation, and they understood. plus they also want to get to know you more, after seeing that you aren't a crazy person.'' I laugh a little as I hold her tight, not wanting to let go even though I know she won't go anywhere. "I can't wait to get to know them also." she says as we let go of eachother, and i suddenly feel cold after our bodies aren't against each other anymore. "See you soon maria. See you tomorrow Hobah." mr. Choi says. All our workers are like one big family, so it's not weird for him to call me Hobah, and I am quite used to it by now. "Let me give you a tour." I say to her as I close the door. "thanks." she says with a big smile. "Well the first one here is the entrance we are in, all rooms connect here." I say in the room we are already standing in. she nods then takes off her shoes and places them on the mat I prepared for her. "Then the first door here leads to the living room. we already got everything fixed so you don't have to think about furniture or something, only clothes and other necessities, but that's something you can do tomorrow.'' I say as I lead her into the living room, with a nice couch, table television, and a dining table with 4 spaces that can be pulled out so it can fit 8 people. wow this is nice, Hobi." she says, as she takes a look around. "Then the next room is the storage space. it can be used for other stuff as well, a guest room or something but for now it just holds the extra chairs, and some stuff we didn't know what to do with yet." I say as we go in. " I think I can think of something at some point." she says, still having a smile on her face. "The next room is the bathroom. there is a shower and a bathtub, and don't worry, you don't pay for water separately, it get paid over the rent so no worries about taking some long nice showers.'' I said to her, laughing. "That sounds nice." and over here in the corner is your washing area, washing machine and drier already installed." I say to her, she nods. next is the kitchen, you will find that most of the stuff you need is already here, but that we can look at some other time." I say as I open some of the drawers and cupboards to show her. "you really thought of everything huh?" she says with a laugh. "and the last room is of course your bedroom." I say as we go in there. "this is amazing Hobi. I can't thank you enough for what you did for me." she says, looking so genuine and happy as she sits down on the edge of her big king size bed. "don't worry about it, pretty girl. This was really fun to put together, a little project, and of course you can get rid of anything you don't like. I just thought I wanted it to look nice for you." I say to her as I sit down beside her. "Everything is perfect, Hobi. I appreciate everything you have done for me." she says then puts a sweet and quick kiss on my cheek as a thanks. making me smile down at her, while my heart begins to pump fast. "oh well I will let you get some rest. and if you don't mind, i have prepared a Bangtan dinner here in a couple of days. That way you can get to know the others more. and don't worry, you won't be the one in the kitchen, everything is ordered.'' I say to her as I place a hand on her lap. "It's ok." I enjoy cooking. can't wait to get to know them also." she says as her hand lands on mine. I looked down at her hand then, coughing clear my throat "oh i better get going now. I am happy you are back here where you clearly belong." I say to her as I get up. She follows me to the door and I get dressed. "I am happy too, Hobi. see you and again, thank you, for everything." she says and we give each other a hug. After I exit her apartment I sigh, as I feel my heart get heavy from being away from her already but it's so late and I have a schedule tomorrow, and she needs rest after her big move.
