The Avengers : Earth's Mightiest Heroes

Prologue - Avengers Disassembled

Dusty barren streets, destroyed buildings and corpses of several beings. Hank(Ant-Man) never got a clear view of the whole place before, but right now, he was seeing it all. It looked as if a once thriving and prosperous place was burned to the ground and only what's left were bits and pieces. But in the end the only thing he could think about was saving his wife(Janet) and his friends.

He runs around searching for them until he finally finds them. The Avengers, Earth's mightiest heroes, all taken down by one person. Iron Man tries one more time to challenge their foe and fires his repulsors at full throttle, but his attack gets deflected back at him. Thor and Captain America lunges at the villain but he teleports right behind them and fires his weapons.

This foe was Kang the Conqueror, he sits in his time chair and laughs at the heroes and their futile ways of attack.

"There. That is why I consider you Avengers worthy foes. You neither flee nor surrender, whatever the odds. But I guess it's time, to put an to this game once and for all."

Suddenly his chair floats a bit higher and starts surging with power, as if ready to give one final blow. Hank realizes what's happening and tries to grow big to destroy it, but his belt has stopped working, he tries doing something to fix it. Captain America stands up and as last resort throws his shield towards the chair and surprisingly it thrusts into the chair. Kang looks at this and is shocked.

"YOU FOOL!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?" Kang screams out.

Suddenly the chair starts beeping, Hank hears this and rushes towards Janet but before he could reach her, the Time Chair explodes and the last thing he hears from his wife is,

"I love you...Hank."

Before a white light engulfs all of them.

3 YEARS LATER

Hank stands before a glass container filled with wasps and remembers about the events of his past. A man walks to him saying,

"Well I notice our genetically modified wasps have peaked your interest, Dr.Pym."

"Hank...just call me Hank. I am not here to chit chat, so you might as well be out with it." Hank replies.

"Straight to business I see. Well then, I invited you with the idea to start a collaboration between my company and yours." I man says.

"You got to be joking right?" Hank asks.

"I never joke when it comes to business Hank." The man replies.

"Look you think I know nothing? Do you really consider me like one of those other immature entrepreneurs who you used and stole ideas from? You can play your tricks on anyone but not on me...Osborn." Hank says and decides to walk away.

 "You know...you were once a brilliant scientist I admired, moreover you were a hero who inspired others. It's such a shame that you gave up on your intellect and power, I mean...Janet wouldn't have wanted this for you." Osborn says.

The instant he says Janet, Hank turns around grabs him by the throat and holds him above.

"Remember one thing Norman, you maybe one of the top entrepreneurs in this city and maybe holds a lot of power but you have no right to bring my wife's name into this. Trust me I don't need any suit to put you down and that's a fact." Hank says with anger in his eyes.

Norman struggles to speak but utters a few things,

"She was a close friend...of mine. She was there for me...in my worst. *cough* I would never hurt her or the people she holds dearest to her."

Hank hears this and drops Norman down. He is shocked as to what he did and tries to walk out of there. Norman's guards who arrive, tries to go after him but are stopped by Norman. Hank walks out of the room trying to rub the tears coming from his eyes when he bumps into someone. He sees a kid on the ground, who seems to be searching for his specs.
