Chapter-1 : Then Came A Spider

"Why? Why? Why?"

A child cries throwing around things all around his room. He was pretty upset about something and was creating a mess in his room. A man suddenly opens the door to see the boy standing amidst of all his clothes and toys, tears dripping down his eyes and he is holding a newspaper which reads, 'Plane Crash Claims Two Lives'. The boy looks at the man with teary eyes and asks,

"Why?"
The man slowly walks up to the boy, crouch down and places a hand on his shoulder and says.

"I don't know son...I truly don't know why. All I can say is that I promise...I promise that this old uncle...will always be there for you."

As he says this the boy hugs into him and starts crying.

"There there." The man says patting his back.

"Please don't ever leave me Uncle Ben." The boy says.

"I promise...I won't leave you Peter."

"PEEEEETERRRR WAKE UP!!" someone screams.

Peter woke up only to realize that he was dreaming. His aunt walks into his,

"Peter wake up."

"Yeah I am awake Aunt May don't worry." Peter says.

"What happened? You look so flustered." His aunt asks.

"Nothing...just had a bad dream." he replies.

"Oh god...are you ok?" she enquires.

Peter nods.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" she asks concerned for him.

"I am fine May, don't worry...now tell me why'd you call me?" Peter asks.

"Oh right! Don't you have school today?" May asks.

Peter's eyes suddenly widen. That's when he remembers. He looks at the clock and realizes he's late and jumps up and starts dressing up. Aunt May prepares his breakfast for him and just as he grabs his lunch and tries to run out, she stuffs a bread into his mouth.

"You shouldn't go to school with an empty stomach." she says with a smirk.

"Aunt May, I am gonna be late for school." Peter says while munching on to his bread.

He dashes out of the house only to see that he missed the bus. He tries to run behind the bus trying to get to it but his efforts were in vain. He slows down to catch his breathe and decides he's got option but to do it the other way. He looks around and runs into an alley way, throws his bag up and slowly removes his clothes only to reveal something beneath.

A man walks on top of his terrace enjoying the view only to see this bag flying, he looks down to find the person who threw it when all of a sudden Peter clad in red and blue suit flies up grabbing the bag. The man's jaw drops as he is wonderstruck.

"Don't keep that mouth open for too long or fly will get in." Peter comments before swinging away.

He swings on top of a tall building and looks at the city. He notices his bus which is heading towards it's destination. He gets ready to get to school but that's when a loud explosion is heard. Peter looks at the direction to see a bunch of robbers dressed in yellow and brown suits walking out of an Oscorp tech facility. Peter knew he was gonna be late, but he couldn't leave this mess. So he takes a big breathe before leaping into action.

Peter lands on the streets and as soon as the men see him,

"Who the hell is this?" Man 1 asks.

"Probably some nut job who forgot to remove his pajamas." Man 2 comments before all of them started going back to what they were doing.
