A small boy with curly hair runs towards a mailbox, enthusiasm in his voice as he sings. "Hey Mister Postman, bring me a post! Bring me the post that I love the most."

The curly-haired boy opens the mailbox, finding that nothing was inside, his face then contorts into disappointment. "Dagnabbit!" He says before slamming the mailbox shut again. It was around this time when Amethyst, an unusually small purple gem that popped out later than the others walked up to him, saying. "Yo, no package yet?" She is seen walking through the sand towards Steven, dragging a blue cooler filled with green cans. Steven looks down sad and again disappointed. "No package yet." Steven then lifts his biggish hand and placed it on his hip, side-eyeing the mailbox. "I definitely ordered a pair of khakis from 'The Distinguished Boy'.

Steven grabs his phone from his pocket and looks toward it whilst Amethyst proceeded to sit on a rock, grabbing one of the cans in her left hand. "They should have been delivered by now," Steven said before walking towards Amethyst, holding an almost mad look on his face. "I'm a distinguished boy, Amethyst. Don't I deserve some distinguished khakis?"

Amethyst does not answer Steven's desperate question, instead she holds out the can she had been holding, showing it to the curly-haired boy. "Aw, want one of these instead?"
"No thanks." Steven's voice rang with impatient sorrow as he glanced over at the cliffs edge, just waiting for the postman to bring him his Khakis any second, this also makes Amethyst look in the direction Steven did, her expression more confused than anything. Steven then squints his eyes directly at that corner. "Any second now."

"Hey Mister Postman, bring me a post!" Steven leaps around the corner, striking up a pose to find that no one was there, making him more impatient that his delivery wasn't here. "Consarn it!" He says in disappointment once more as he looks ahead at the empty plain.

Steven trudges himself back around the corner to where Amethyst still sat, his arms hanging limply behind him as he walked. "Still no Jamie. I don't understand. He's usually so.. punctual." Steven stands back in place with his hands on his hips while Amethyst is chilling, eating the beans from the can that she had before throwing it away and leaning down to grab another. Steven lets out a headed sigh and crosses arm, getting quite frustrated at Jamie's disappearance. Amethyst sits back up with another can in hand before looking over at Steven who was still very upset and disappointed, her smile fading into a frown. Steven was humming to himself before finishing it with "..Bring me a post..."

Amethyst tries to lighten up Steven's mood. "Hey, you shouldn't have to waste your whole day for some thing in the mail." Amethyst then looks at the bean can that was in her hand before offering it to Steven, trying to get his mind of the post that was way too late. "Take some of these magic beans to town and trade it for a donut." Amethyst's voice sounded a little breathy as she held out the last word 'donut'. Steven whips his head around to what Amethyst was holding out, his arms still crossed on his chest, he looked confused. "You've been drinking... Beans?" Amethyst just shrugs. "They're good for the heart."

Steven preps his finger against his chin, in a sort of thinking stance. "Unfortunately, I know from experience the Big Donut does not accept magic beans as currency," he says as he slightly shakes his hand side to side gently before Amethyst pulls the can away and puts her hand to the top, ready to open it. "But, you'd still wait for Jamie while I got us some donuts?" Steven said, excitement beginning to grow in his voice. Amethyst quickly agrees to this ordeal. "Sure. Why not?" With force, Amethyst opens the can of beans with ease. "We'll hold down the fort while you're gone."

"Amethyst! Steven!" A voice could be heard from the near distance, causing Amethyst and Steven to look that way, confusion glittering their gazes as it is revealed to be the voice of Pearl who is building a sandcastle with Garnet. Pearl is gesturing to the massive sandcastle with excitement in her voice. "Look! We're building a tiny house, for crabs!" Garnet then stands up, holding two blue crabs that she had dug up in the sand, placing them on their 'new home'. "Welcome to your new home," her voice was a soft tone, gentle with the tiny creatures as she placed them down on the fragile sandcastle.
