I Am My Mom | Part 2

The Topaz had fused back and trapped Steven with the others, only Steven's head poking out of her back, right next to Lar's half-submerged face and arm. "Oh! Hi, Lars," he said, though Lar's only replied with a lot of muffled screaming.

"Don't worry. I'm gonna bust us all out with my bubble power!" Steven began straining, trying to summon his bubble shield, which was difficult due to the mass of the fused Topaz's body. While he was doing that, Onion had murmured something to Topaz, the fusion looking a little shocked almost.

"Her body's... so thick..." Steven said, straining himself further to try and get all of them free. "... This... might be... a little difficult." Lars then gave out more angry muffles, banging his free arm on the Topaz's back, restraining Steven from concentrating a little.

"Time to go!" Aquamarine cheerfully said, raising her wand into the air. The ground rumbled before a spaceship, disguised as the top of the merry-go-round, activates. It began to float in the air, twisting around so the front was facing them, a door opening. The Crystal Gem's looked shocked at this. "Uhh, Steven, di-did you actually have a plan or-" Amethyst spoke with concern. Topaz turned around to face the spaceship, and Steven was still straining himself. "Just need... a minute."

Topaz leaps up onto the spaceship with ease, the Aquamarine flying towards the Crystal Gem's who were all carrying worried faces. "Very nice meeting you all, and your compliance is appreciated, but!-" She bows to them. Pearl tries to stab Aquamarine with her spear, but unfortunately Aquamarine dodges with ease and continues. "Our job here is done, sooo..." She blows a raspberry at the Crystal Gems and flies into the ship with Topaz, the door quickly shutting behind them.

Inside, Steven is still trying to summon his bubble shield, which still had a tough time working. He stops for a moment to look around the ship, almost confused. The Aquamarine just sighs. "Let's get back to Homeworld already." She then begins to fly further into the ship, the Topaz still just standing in the same position.

"But I'm already on my home world. I haven't even delivered all the mail today." Jamie shouts in panic, still trapped inside Topaz stomach. "Don't worry," Steven speaks, trying to summon his bubble again. "I can do this." The Topaz begins to move as Steven speaks, following Aquamarine without any words spoken. Sadie, Lars and Connie begin to muffle shout again since their mouths are merged into Topaz's body. "Ohh! You might wanna hurry, Steven. The threat of us perishing in this quagmire of yellow feels very real; a real encompassing kind of real. A neon death trap, which has imprisoned us so tightly, like a winter coat that's too big in the sleeves." Jamie shouts in fear, the others muffling shouts, and Lars hitting Steven in the face with his hand. "Lars, stop! I need to concentrate!" Steven speaks up.

"Ughh. If I never get sent on another mission to Earth, it'll be too soon." Aquamarine speaks, moving her hands in a cross motion at the end of that line before her wings disappear. "What an ordeal. But the Diamonds needed me. That's the burden of being the best." Aquamarine sits down on her control seat, giving a sassy little pose as she spoke.

"What justice is there in such a gross tangling symbols?!" Jamie shouts, with all the muffled screaming backing his voice, Aquamarine looks very annoyed hearing this. "Will you stop?! You're ruining my moment!" Aquamarine sounded like a spoilt brat as she says this.

"Steven." Jamie whimpers, sounding less rash and more actually scared than before. "Ahh, I almost got it!" Steven replies, sweating nervously as he strains himself further, desperate for this to work. The Topaz suddenly stops, Jamie hearing something, something weird. "Huh?" He spoke with a soft undertone. The Topaz begins to sweat and begins expanding like a balloon. Eventually she pops and sets everyone free as they all get scattered on the floor. Steven had successfully summoned his bubble shield and immediately put it away just before he hit the ground.
