Steven and Connie wander through the empty streets of Beach City. "Connie, do you really think there could be another Gem like me?" Steven spoke, his hand to his forehead, Connie was looking around the empty streets. "Well... You know more about Gems than I do, but it can't be impossible. You exist." Upon hearing this, Steven goes into a thinking state, hming to himself as he looks away from Connie as the two keep walking.

"..She didn't look half-human though," he finally spoke out, still not gazing at Connie. "She was blue and... Had wings." Steven and Connie then both make eye contact right as Connie begins speaking. "Well, what if she's adopted?" Connie begins to smile as she makes up scenarios for this teardrop gems life. "What if, she crash-landed in the big city and she was taken in by a lonely millionaire with a heart of gold?" Steven gave a smug expression as he gave a slight point to Connie. "And a house of gold."

Connie just continues. "But one day, he went on a business trip to Beach City, and he never came home," she said as the two kids continued walking through the empty town. "I... guess I'd watch the movie of that." Steven spoke back, listening to Connie's theories who continued off of what he said. "Or read the book, or neither, 'cause it could be reality, Steven," Connie said, using her hands to make gestures to what she was saying.

Suddenly the two stop, standing in the middle of the boardwalk, looking at each other. "You really think so?" Steven asked with curiosity stinging his voice. "Hey, the only way to know is to find out." Connie crouched slightly with saying that, her hands clenched into tight fists and her eyes narrowed to the slightest. Steven then copied what Connie had done, though he was more soft with it. "Yeah!"

Steven and Connie now walk through the forest, looking around for anything of what they've been looking for, the two seem to be confused. Steven bursts through a bush, and Connie jumps down from a tree she seemingly had climbed to get a better look of the forest.

Steven begins to walk to look elsewhere while Connie bends down and grabs an orange leaf in her hand, crunching it up and lifting her hand to let the leaf crumbs float away in the wind. "Yup, there's wind." She spoke softly, slouching over slightly to look up. Connie then hears Steven speak and looks over at her friend.

"Man.. I just feel like I was here with Onion and all his friends. Where is he?" Steven's voice sounded distraught and worried, he had not a clue on what to do, he just wanted to fix it. "Poor Sour Cream missing his brother, and Barb missing her daughter, and her mailman. And this new Gem missing her dad!" Steven sighed, looking away. "I know what it's like to have your dad taken away. She must be so scared."

Connie steps forward and places her hand on Steven's shoulder. "But you got your dad back. And you'll solve this too. We'll solve this, together." Connie and Steven turn to face each other, smiling, Steven starting to feel a little bit better from before. "Thanks Connie." They both smile at each other. "Okay, let's turn these woods upside down." Steven points forward as the two continue their search.

Steven begins looking around this log, it was a dark brown with this hedgy moss-like stuff leaning against it. "Onion! Lars!" He shouts to the forest. Steven then kneels down and looks inside the log to see if anyone was there. "Jamie! You in here delivering packages to some peep moss?"

While Steven is doing that, Connie is looking around the trees, carrying a more confused expression before the teardrop gem from before floats down on a slightly low branch, looking down at Connie who has her back turned, but she hears the noise and quickly turns around, Connie looks excited. "Steven! It's the Gem!"

Steven pops his head out of the log which he was looking in, confused. "What?"
"She looks just like my drawing. Come on! You don't have to be afraid, we'll help you. Jump down into my arms. My body will break your fall." Connie lifts her arms up, hoping that this small gem will jump down safely and that she would catch her. Though this gem looked rather confused at Connie's request.

"Are you my dad?" Connie retracts at this and looks rather confused at this silly question, she didn't even look like a dad. "What?.. No I-I'm not your dad. We can help you find your dad." This teardrop gem just stared blankly at Connie. "I'm not looking for 'Your Dad', I'm looking for 'My Dad'. I need to find 'My Dad'"

Connie is now really confused by this, having no idea what this gem even wants anymore. "Riiight, well, we'll... help you." Steven's voice abruptly spoke out as he struggled in the log he was now stuck in. "Connie!" He shouts, grunting as he tries to free himself. "Connie, wait! Be careful."

The teardrop gem's eyes now widened, the confusion flickering away for just a moment. "Connie." The gem now smiles. "Are you Connie?"
"Yes!" Connie smiles, seemingly getting the gem's full attention. "I'm Connie! Me Connie." She points to herself, pushing her hands to her chest. "Connie friend."

The teardrop gem chuckled, growing her wings again and flies off from the branch that she was perched on. "Topaz! I found one! I found one! I found a Connie!" Connie steps back upon hearing this, keeping her eye on the excited gem above her. "Steven?" She said, kind of scared which you could probably hear in her voice. "Connie!" Steven shouts, straining to get himself free from the log that trapped him, grunting painfully.

Suddenly the ground shakes, trembling, causing Steven to widen his eyes, frightened by this sound. With another tremble birds squawk, flying out from their homes in the trees, what could make these noises? Was it a gem? What else could it be?

Connie quickly draws her sword, getting into a fighting stance as a giant yellow gem emerges from the depths of the trees beyond. But what they held shocked the two. They had everyone. Lars, Sadie, Onion, and Jamie! They were all struggling, making out muffled screams as they were trapped in the massive gem.

Connie steps back, eyes widened. "Another Gem! She... She has everyone." Steven was the next one to speak up, still trapped in the fallen log. "Let them go!"

The giant yellow gem called 'Topaz' begins to glow and break apart, turning into two smaller ones, showing that this gem was a fusion as they held the humans in place with their big hands. Suddenly, the two Topaz's begin to sprint towards Connie, linking their hands together and before Connie could do anything, they fuse back and trap Connie with the others inside their fused body.

"Connie!" Steven lets out a panic wail and slide in the log, his legs swishing out the other side as he breaks the log apart, setting him free and Steven begins running towards this gem, panicked.

The teardrop gem floats down to sit on the Topaz fusions head, looking down at the trapped humans. "Look at those squirming around." She then lays down on their head, smiling. Steven runs towards them, stopping in front of the two gems, angry. "Give me back my friends!" He quickly summons his shield, setting it in front of him catching the Gem's attentions. "Don't bother listening to that Steven, he's not 'My Dad'," the teardrop gem speaks, making a shooing motion and lifts her hand to the ribbon bow wrapped on her hair, pulling it off and turning it into a small wand, letting it glow. She then shoots a sort of tractor beam at Steven, freezing him and lifting him up into the air, flinging him into a tree with ease, giving an evil laugh in return.

"Now all we need is 'My Dad' and we're out of here!" This small gem speaks, excitement in her tone thinking about leaving this dust-ridden planet they call 'Earth'. Steven's hearing and vision fluctuate as he tries to lift himself up, reaching for the Gem's that took his friends, slowing beginning to lose his senses and pass out, his ears holding a hurtful ring.

"Can't believe they wasted an Aquamarine on a job like this. It's so easy you could've done it yourself, Topaz." The two then begin to walk away, leaving Steven to struggle as he fades away. "No... You... can't... take them..." Steven's voice felt weak, it was getting harder and harder to stay awake, until he couldn't, and everything went black.
